Growing up in a small island in the Philippines Masbate Avicii made an impact in me and the EDM genre. I love all his songs. He was the one who opened my eyes to EDM. Being free and enjoying every moment of life. Until now ten years later I still play his songs and prefer his music over other artists. You're my favorite artist of all time!

I always remember the first time I heard of Avicii. I was on a trip with my class. We went ice skating. In the last 10 minutes they've played Levels. It was amazing hearing his songs and living with him. He inspired me to go my own way and wake up. On the days or in the nights. YOUR songs inspired me to make music to move on and live my own life. But the saddest part is that I've never been on an Avicii concert and after that it's impossible. I really missed something. Thank you for being you.

Avicii was a huge inspiration for me musically. I started producing music 7 years ago because of him and I was able to see him live twice. His melodic hooks were amazing and the funny part is I always wanted to jam with him in a studio and improvise a synth lead melody on top of any one of his songs. It would have a been a dream come true.
It's sad that someone who brought so much joy and happiness to other peoples lives through his music was not happy himself. Avicii lives through each and one of us every time we play his songs and music. The world is not the same without him. You will be missed Tim.

Back when I was in high school I was obsessed with Tim’s music. One of my favorite memories from that time was when my sister started singing “Hey Brother” with me while we were working in the kitchen. We have different tastes in music so it surprised me that she knew the lyrics. It was a special moment in my life and I often think about it.
