In all the years since your death I haven't the heart to write something here. Until now. Your compositions always had a way of writing themselves onto my mind and heart I've seldom experienced elsewhere and from practically no other musician. Sometimes when I hear again those familiar melodies weaving through the air like birds in flight I am back in that kitchen in 2013 twelve years old asking my friend who composed them. And her voice still rings out in my memory answering: "Avicii."

I have listened to his music so much but never realized who the singer was. I wish I had known or paid more attention. His music has helped me a lot. The song "The Nights" has helped me get through a lot of things. He is amazing and I have just found out that he has passed. I wish I had known so much more about him. I never met Avicii ever nor never even knew who was but there was only one song that always stuck to my head and that was "Wake Me Up" that was a #1 song that had always stayed in my head since i was 9 years old and finally at age 15 i finally new the title of the song and downloaded right away so i could listen to forever and keep Avicii in my memories and I wish he was alive so i could tell him how his song "Wake Me Up" made me so happy as a kid :] 🙂 -Thank you Avicii R.I.P

I just love this music my mom introduced it into my life in 2019 and I really wanted more songs but when I was in youtube I saw RIP avicii and I almost lost my head. I was so sad that he died I just kept on rewatching the same 10 songs over and over.

Hey Avicii it’s been years since I heard the news. And honestly I was really sad at the time. And then my life went on. For some reason tonight I thought of you. Played your songs. Felt sadness. Understood you. Wished we had met on a beach and just chatted about life. I have this fantasy that I would’ve helped you see the light at the end of the tunnel and encouraged you to put an end to your suffocating career not your life. Hope you’re happy up there and playing music for my loved ones.

Damn bro i wish I could have seen you in concert. I feel you in the beats when I listen and I love it. I know you will never see this but I am going through some rough times and this music helps me through it. Still working on it and this is inspiration.

Avicii helped soothe my soul and heart at such a young impressionable age. He helped me dearly through my early 20s. I enjoyed playing Avicii on my turntables for friends as well! So many emotions his songs help soothe for me at such crucial times! You will forever live on through your music!

To me Avicii was the person that really democratized house music. No other person in the genre has brought more "house music joy". Before Tim house was something like "techno". After Tim started producing music my mom can listen to house music and enjoy it. May you rest in peace. With 2 friends at a bar in Amsterdam June 2019 and The Nights comes on full blast. We knew all the words cause we grew up on Avicii and it was just a fantastic reminder to live every day to the fullest.

Ever since wake me up was released I discovered Avicii. His music inspired me to feel alive and seize the moment. Hey Brother was one of my favorite songs and seeing Tim die broke my heart. I cried for hours and listening to more of his music. In 2019 when tim was released I still cried I wish Tim was alive so he can finish living his life.

Never really appreciated Tim's music until more recently but in hindsight his music made up a lot of what I listened to as a child watching MTV. That so much of his music might never be heard is tragic.

If I'm being honest I didn't actually find out about him till about a week ago. But I was heartbroken to learn that he passed away.

i cannot believe that he died. i found out yesterday. i remember listening to "wake me up" when i was 4. i loved his music so much. for me they told such a story when the lyrics are sang out loud. the music itself is amazing. it's heartbreaking to find out that Tim died. he holds a place for music in my heart. i still listen to his music on repeat and i don't regret it. may god bless him and that his music will live on forever in our hearts. may one day we will see him again. ❤❤

Dear Tim I'm so sorry to learn of your passing. I don't really listen to pop music but my autistic son found your video for The Nights recently and he listens to the song almost daily. I looked it up to see who it was and I'm so sad to hear that you have left us for a better place. Thank you for bringing a smile to my son's face and for sharing your music and talent with the world.
