Music is how many people escape reality. Avicii is one of the few people who gave this escape to me. He's even inspired me to try make my own music. Without him I wouldn't be making my music today.

Avicii's music was my first taste of EDM and it’s now my favorite genre and picks me up whenever I’m sad. I used to listen to all of his songs from Levels Waiting for Love and The Nights. I was only 8 years old when I became a huge fan but my parents said I was too young to go to a concert. I promised I’d see him live when I grew up but I never thought someone as gifted as him would leave us so soon. Now I’m 16 and still listen to his music and he will live on through his amazing music.
I remember the first time I heard your music. My cousin teased me and wouldn't tell me who this amazing artist was. I tried so hard to find who you were. I was young and didn't remember the lyrics so all I could do was type in "Duns" in hopes that I would find the song Levels. Once I found your name my life changed only for the better. You brought joy to my heart ears and soul as you did for the rest of us. It is amazing to see how you still have an impact on us brother. Thank You.
The new song is amazing. I’m 50 this year and I think I’ll still be listening to Tim’s music when I’m 80! I hope so. I hope the Tim Bergling foundation will be very successful and do amazing work and help many people who struggle every day with their demons. I just wish Tim could have reached out to someone to help him. It’s so sad and I think his mum and dad are amazing. I’m on countdown now for the release of the album ??

2013 was a year in which I suffered low self-esteem and a close relative passed away. What helped me the most was getting home from school and listening to Wake Me Up every day. I hope you are at peace now Tim we all miss you.

When I was young I almost never listened but when I got the first time heard avicii I loved his music. My biggest wish was to go to one off his concert. Avcii is one of those artists that you can properly call artists. He was an innovator. I could say that he is one of the very few that inspired me to get into music production and I'm sad I won't have the chance to say "Thank you Tim!" to him in person. Levels Silhouettes Wake me up and many more will become timeless masterpieces. Thank you Tim!
So sad. When I hear the new song – SOS- I have tears in my eyes. I can imagine how bad Tim felt because I had a deep depression too. No sleep no possibility to come down only dark thoughts and heavy medicatioun. Why nobody could help him to stop the ship earlier- already 2015- why ??

Man when he passed I was absolutely gutted… His music brought me a lot of happiness and gave me a feeling like no other. His music was the very first I learnt to play on the piano and everytime I play for an audience no matter how small I play one of his songs. I hope that one day I will be able to play one of them for him. RIP ❤️
How could i express the feeling i have at the moment. AVICII music changed my music style forever from "i'm not sure what should i listen today" to "his music in specific and EDM in general are what i only listen from now on" He had so much influence inside me and my past such a humble and sweet DJ. Can't be happier to do an eulogy for his first anniversary of suicide for my class.

We all have our challenges in life and Avicii's music for me made it hard to get through some of the toughest times. When I was in middle school I felt lost in this world .My parents and the adults around me stressed over who I should be when I graduate.They wanted me to be so many things I didn't want to be. I had my own dreams and wanted to pursue them.I wanted to travel and just be myself.It got to the point I thought of ending it all.I remember sitting alone feeling so lost and like an outcast when I heard your music and I felt so free and happy and not so alone In this world. You saved my life.thank you!

I remember my whole family listening to his songs every time we went on holiday or even just on trips to the park. To be honest I grew up listening to his songs and every time he'd publish a new one I'd always listen to it. I still cry every time I listen to his songs now… R.I.P Tim you will always be in our hearts.

Avicii will forever be my favourite music artist. I remember coming back from my birthday party when I was 10 and listening to the 'true' album I was gifted by my mum. we had it playing a full volume and everyone in the car was shouting out the lyrics to Wake me up and Hey brother. I lost my mum not due to death due to lack of parenting. She wasn’t good for me but it hurt like mad when she left. Your music helped me overcome depression and thankfully I’m here today. As a kid I would listen to "My Feelings For You" all the time. Your songs just give me goosebumps energy confidence power and can make me cry at the same time. It felt like I knew you completely. I had multiple dreams in where I met you and you were teaching me Swedish and I was teaching you Dutch and we would just have a lot of fun. I've seen you play the final act at EMF in France and it was the only time I got to see you and it was amazing. I will tell you all about in my dream soon! 🙂

Honestly I still can't find my words. Tim is a true legend. What he did that was unique and it's still unique and eternal. I became a fan like 7 years ago. I still can't let him go can't let the feelings go. He changed my whole attitude to life for this I'm more than thankful. Doesn't matter what's gonna happen we'll find the solution.
