I remember my brother telling me about Avicii for the first time when we were on a road trip. I heard Silhouettes and I started crying. The music was to pure so distressed it made me so emotional. When I heard my brother scream from his room I went over and asked "What's wrong?" he responded with "Avicii has died." I started crying I couldn't talk to my friends I got stuck in a bubble of depression for months. Miss you Tim Wish you were here <3

I was a year abroad in the US and right beforehand „Wake me up“ was released. Since I stayed in a pretty big house I convinced my housemates to throw a party every week. Every week it was packed. And every week I played „Wake me up“. Whilst not much appreciated in the beginning it became an anthem for all of us and still is. Up to this day people text me whenever they hear „Wake me up“ saying that it reminds them of those days The song will always be an inspiration to me. Thank you!

A few years ago I was casually watching TV at my Grandmothers house and I was just sapping through the diffrent channels and I ended up on a music channel. At that time I wasn't really interested in music TV-channels but I was really bored and decided to keep watching for a little bit. That was the first time I heard "Wake me up" it was actually the first time I ever heard of Avicii. Since that day I liked his music a lot and were a big fan. Thank you Tim.

Levels was one of the very first edm songs that got me interested in the genre I remember hearing it back in Highschool in our senior room. And then in University listening to the new songs with my best friend whenever they came out listening to hey brother together.

He was and is such an inspiration. Through his love to music he also kind of showed me how to love what defines me and how to stand for what I love.
His music gives more than just happiness. For me they are relaxing because I can come down and feel free. Every song from him is SO great and really emotional. They are about the real life and things we should think about or don't forget about.

I still remember I watch the song "wake me up" on the TV and I fell for that song over and over again. At that time I didn't knew who is Avicii or Tim or his music I just started to listen to his songs more and more after that. That's the time I realised this is the true music I love and he define the EDM in his own way. That music bought my life back together. You're the true definition of my teenage. Thank you sm Tim. Anyone who's experienced bouts of serious depression (myself included) knows how oppressive it can seem vicious cycles of self-doubt and anguish with no end in sight. So thank you to Avicii for your gift of music to us I'm so sorry for what it cost you. But whenever I listen to your songs you give us strength to fight our own demons.
Avicii was by far my favourite artist he was there to keep me up when times were tough in high school. "The Night" was my anthem and after I graduated I played it once more because of the lyrics "These are the nights that never die!" hit close to the heart. So when I heard he pasted away I also thought his songs and memories will live out through the night and will never die.
