20/04/2018 my Birthday to me a happy day until.. i see the news and.. i see that news i cant belive i had the same feel when i lost one of my best friend for depression on july/2017.. when my brother wrote for the fist time my name i play "Hey Brother" that day i was on infinite love with the musics you music make one mark on all of my days in this earth when im down i hear "Felling Good" from that day i have all chances do be just Tiago. Every single time you released a new song EP or an album I wouldn’t do anything else that day until I downloaded it first. When I heard of your passing I was absolutely heartbroken. You have made my life so much better with your music. The meaningful lyrics and catchy beats of your music resonate with me every day. Thank you Tim/Avicii for everything. The year of 2013 I remembered I listened to "Wake Me Up" on the radio when I was 9 years old. That exact day I ask my mom like "Can I get on YouTube." And I remembered playing "Wake me Up" 7 times. Then they year of 2015 a Nickelodeon movie "Splitting Adam" came out with "Wake Me Up" as an intro. On Friday April 20th 2018 I was devastated after hearing the news of Avicii. Gone too soon. I listened to Avicii since highschool (2010). I am into music production and a significant part of my sound was shaped by his songs on repeat all the time since then. Tim's music is not just something I listened to. It's something I learned from. Tim's music helped me get through so much in my life. In 2015 I had the immense pleasure and honor of attending Tim's performance @ Mawazines Festival Rabat. Thank you for everything Tim you will never be forgotten. <3

Some of the songs helped me through some of the hardest and darkest times in my life such as Wake Me Up and The Nights. The music was always upbeat and inspirational to me and I remember me and my dad always singing and dancing to it while in the car. Thank you for being the amazing artist you were and always will be and thank you for helping and supporting me without even realising it. Levels was the first song I ever heard and I'm not ashamed to say as a 9 year old I was dancing to it.

Thank you Avicii. You were a musical genius and changed EDM forever. Hearing certain songs will always bring back some memories of my teenage years I guess you could say a large number of his songs were the soundtrack to those years. Lost count of how many times I've stuck on a song from Avicii to get me through tough / challenging times. Absolutely gutted I never got to see Avicii live. RIP. ◢ ◤

when i was about 17 i remember Tim through Laidback lukes forum. At the age of now 27 i managed to find the early version of levels in my DAW. Everytime i listen to it then i wish i had a time machine. I am still producing music till this day but very concealed because of my depression. Tim was and is still an inspiration to me. if i ever get a chance to break through even with mental illness one day i will honor him as a fellow scandinavian… you will live forever in your music Tim ??❤️

One afternoon I watched a song on YouTube called "Levels" Aparti from that day I had met the best DJ in the world and that DJ was one of the main responsible for me to leave the quele hole of solitude. My journey with Avicii started when I had heard one of his firsts song called "Seek Bromance" released under his real name Tim Berg. Later I really felt in love with a collaboration between him and Nicky Romero "I could be the one". I also loved his solo songs like "You Make Me" "Wake Me Up" "Hey Brother" and many many others songs which he created. Generally I love Avicii's style. It is something different his music has a soul every song tells a different story and this is beautifull. RIP?
I began to appreciating you when I heard for the first time “the night”. It was when we knew about my father’s cancer. When you declared to stop touring I decided to flew in Ibiza: there I could see you playing your music. I think that was my better decision I will never forget that night. The only thing i hate of my life is not met Tim before he passed away one of my dreams was met him and told him about how much he inspired me on life and music and how much his music helped me in the worst moments im making a tribute to him wiht my music now but im still not ready for that. I feel so thankful for been able to saw him grow. He is a legend and a big brother to me i hope someday to make you smile with my music. At 25 I lost a close of friend of mine and decided to travel. I listened to Tim’s music a lot while I was away it was a comfort and gave me a release to the pain I felt. Thank you Avicii I wish we could of provided you that same comfort and relieved your pain. Your music still brings us together and hopefully your legacy can save others.
