When I was 11 I didn't know what EDM was. I didn't know what house music was. I had no idea what was mainstream and what everyday music was like. Then my Youtube "suggested" section came up and I thought I'd try the first video. What followed was the most inspiring the most memorable 4:33 I have ever experienced. Nowadays whenever I feel down or stressed I hit my Avicii playlist like a drug. Thank you Avicii for being there for me and opening my window to a million musical possibilities.

I won't write nothing on this website from it's creation it's sad to accept reality. I listen everyday to some unreleased/released songs of Avicii (I hope to listen to studio version soon). I think is one of the best DJ/Musician ever born his music is still an emoction it self everyday. Your music really take me to heaven. Love from the bottom of my heart your music Avicii.

I loved a girl named Kaashvi. And everyday I would listen to Avicii's songs in the bus hoping to talk to her one day. I never spoke to her but I did want to become close. I hope to grow close to her one day.

I remember when I was in 6th grade our teacher told us to present our role model. I picked you I was and still am very fascinated by your amazing music and personality. I technically didn't know avicii only after some years I knew about him and his songs everyday I listen to his music he has made so many but when I was a kid everywhere I go into used to hear avicii without noticing him all my memories as far as I can remember contained all his songs "hey brother" in that song me and my family spent the most time together "wake me up" taught me about racism and discrimination is bad "the nights" taught me to live life to the fullest R.I.P Avicii ???????

I saw you live twice Tim once in WaterlooCanada and 4 years later in the south of France before you left us. I could tell you were sick and weren't doing well. These last few months have been a process. Got a family that grieves fans that keep Remembering & friends that don’t forget. we can move on but it’s not that easy is it ? Some leave such a strong input on our lives that Is hard to see the rest of a lifetime without them Klas speech brought me to tears because I got that feeling of emptiness all over again. Wow what an amazing artist. I always liked avicii but my true introduction was on a recording of ultrafast 2016. What an amazing set and was awesome to see how happy avicii looked. Always dreamed of attending an avicii concert. Not going to happen now but got the recordings at least. Still gutted miss your music man your were someone who put a smile on my face.

I can't say much but Avicii's music really made me feel things things I can't describe. It wasn't just music it was an experience a journey. And all journeys come to an end but even if it was only for a short time Avicii's music really changed my life changed me. I'm glad that the world was able to experience what he had to offer I only wish that he's at peace wherever he may be now.

I'm Brazilian and a great fan of Avicii … I started listening to Tim's songs early in his career I had the opportunity to attend several parties watered by his music. I was completely devastated by the news of her death and how the EDM scene lost from the moment it was gone. I wish my heartfelt condolences to the family and may God make them understand the greater purpose He has for all this. We will always remember him and his charming smile!

I was at an amusement park with a couple of close friends. Then Silhouette came on during one of the rides. While we were waiting in line; I danced all the way through the song. Made some random people dance with me. At the moment i felt joy pure happiness and bliss

It doesn't matter if I was playing minecraft taking a walk or even learning the piano Tim's music seemed to always linger somewhere in the back of my mind waiting for an opportunity to say "play me" kind of like the toys in a toy store. Wish I had taken more interest in him before now but it's a little late for that. After hearing that he was a good guy I went to see what he had done. In the end i'm glad to know he is christian so he can watch over us and see the effects of his life on us!

Hi world I am still so devastated. I don‘t know why Tim‘s death is still touching me so much even though I didn‘t know him personally. But I guess I can state that I knew him through his music. I have never and will never experience such a genius doing his work.. every single lyrics.. everything is about celebrating life and it’s worth. Tim was a man who created music who was original and was like no other. His death was tragic to those who enjoyed his work across the world but the reason was he was struggling physically and mentally because his popularity exploded overwhelming him pressuring him into doing gigs and making new songs that affected his health. His albums and songs told us his struggles that it was too much to bare leading to the death of Tim. Although we lost a legend all agree that Avicii will rest in peace◢◤

As I was a kid I would listen to Avicci on my MP3 player i went through a lot of hardships and lost lot of people I loved. the first song I listened to by Avicci was Levels.. it made me happy back then and it still make me happy today. Tim made a lot of people happy while he lived.. and he still does cause he lives in every one of us i think. I hope that Tim parents may find some peace in knowing that their son was an incredible person and that he will never be forgotten.

When in 2016 he announced he would stop touring. I was heavily disappointed because I was 13 years old and I really wanted to visit multiple shows when I would grow up. Then two years later I heard he died. I think that was one of the saddest moments in my life. It really felt like someone of my family died although I never saw him in real life. It was wonderful to see all the people in Stockholm on the streets just to remember a man who was incredible with music.
