The Avicii Memory Board

Avicii was an inspiration his death impacted me so much to the point I couldn't help but feel depressed if someone brought him up. But I realized that even if he never knew me He wouldn't want me or any of his friends family or fans to suffer from his passing. That's why I continue to support him on his journey to Heaven. I don't normally post things like this….I guess I am finding myself here to relieve some of the heartache I have been feeling. Especially having watched your documentary on Netflix. It's strange I have never met you and yet I feel such heartache. It seems that I am not the only person mourning your missing presence in this world. I hope that you have found your peace and I am so sad that you had to go so soon. I wish we could have been friends and I could have stopped you on that tragic day.

First. And last time I saw your show was during the first year of paradiso at the gorge. After watching the documentary about your life on Netflix it brought me to tears. Thank you for your beautiful music!

As a kid I would always go skiing with my dad and on the way there he would always show me new songs that he found. One day in 2011 he showed me a song called "levels" by a DJ named Avicii. He was never really a fan of this type of music but he really loved this particular song. When I heard that Avicii had died I was in shock because I was a big fan of his music. I told my dad and I just gave him the biggest hug. You've created great memories for me and my dad I won't forget ever <3 R.I.P

I was never a HUGE fan but Avicii was always on my playlist and I started seriously listening to his song while on holiday abroad and doing stuff that made me happy so sad that he’s gone but his music is something I will forever associate with positive memories and I will never ever stop listening his music just makes you feel g o o d. Hi I’m from South Dakota USA. I first listened to Avicii for his 2012 Ultra Performance and was blown away! He was apart of my healing listening to Levels Album. I wish I could’ve met him to thank him for contributing to the soundtrack to my life; prior to his passing my mother had passed away a month before and we listened to his set for Ultra 2012 while she was in the ICU. I hope he continues to help others like he did me from beyond. Thank you so much Tim for saving my life. Peace/Love.

Dear Tim the other day there was this mockingbird sat in a tree beside my open window. Idk why but I whistled your ~dancing in my head ~ melody to it. It looked at me and began groovin its body the more I completed the loop! It climbed higher in the tree towards my voice as the melody continued until it was right near me still intent on my voice. When thinking about the impact Avicii had in my life it's not some defining moment at a concert or festival. Rather it was the daily motivation to keep living life to its fullest. His music got me through the monotony of the work week. It gave me hope of something greater and reminded me that life isn't measured by the money in your bank account or the car you drive.. It inspired me to chase my dreams with eyes wide open and live in the moment creating memories that will never die.

I truly believe his music brings the world together in such a positive way! AVICII has such a talent for just that. The world is a better place for that he will always live on and his music will echo for eternity.

I just watched the documentary on Netflix. I had no idea about him and his music. This is a very sad story. He was so young. All he knew was he loved making music that's all he wanted to do-not everything else that came with it. He knew he didn't feel right-his mind and body told him.
