When I first heard Avicii, I was living in a small apartment in Frankfurt while studying medicine. It was the hardest time of my life, marked by discrimination and deep personal struggles. A song of his played on the radio, and the host said he was very young and extremely talented. I immediately fell in love with his melodies and compositions. Avicii is my greatest inspiration. His loss is a great tragedy, but the love he gave us through his music will never end.

the song "wake me up" by Avicii will always make me sad.. but like not in a sad way, but I remember being 6 and starting 1st grade whenever this song came out. now I'm 19 and I still listen to this song, but learning the songs meaning/purpose made it even more relatable, especially as I got older and into my teen years and struggled with a lot. My first ever concert was going to see Avicii in Bahrain. It was the best day of my life. I have saved all my energy and emotions just to see him and he didnt disappoint. It was an epic concert.

I was almost suicidal, and Avicii's songs helped me through it a lot. Everyday, I woke up listening to the line 'Feel my way through the darkness, guided by a beating heart.' Whenever I wasn't okay, I would come here, this is my home when I'm feeling down, the only place where I can connect Avicii. Somehow, we shared the same lifestyle and spirit. Today, after a lot of disappointment, I'm back here instead of doing s'thing irreversible, committing. I'm choosing to wait and hope for better days.
