It was 2009 I think. I'd just started listening to EDM and Avicii was my favorite Producer/DJ at the time. I was looking for ID's while I was in vacations in Saint Kitts and remember crystal clear the moment I heard Salem Al Fakir voice in an ID that would later be known as Sillhouttes. Goosebumps right from the start played it on repeat for the whole trip. Everytime I listen to it I get so much happy vibes. I cant start a trip without listening to the song it became a traditition. RIP Tim.

On a Friday in 2011 I was sitting at my desk. Work was slow and although I was tired and bored I was looking forward to the weekend. A coworker had mentioned Avicii once so on a whim I decided to listen to Levels (his top song on Spotify). I'll never ever forget those 3.5 minutes. That song birthed a deep love of electronic music and steered me to my favorite passion and hobby DJing. Tim you singlehandedly made me re-discover my love of music and I'll never forget your impact on my life.

I'll never forget the first time I heard 'Seek Bromance' all those years ago. Since then I've always been a huge fan of Tim and I'll never forget all the good times listening to his songs. During summer of 2011 on my way to school I was listening to the radio station. When the host played 'Seek Bromance' I became interested. When Levels came out I was excited and would always listen to it everyday. I would always go on Youtube to search up more tracks from 'Alcoholic' 'Ryu' 'My Feelings For You' and more. When your collab with Nicky Romero was premiered it became one of my favorites. When it was released I was happy. Thank you for making me introduce to dance music.

I was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer one month after graduating from college. I listened to Avicii's music during my first month in treatment to help keep my spirits up as his music always made me feel positive about life. Thank you for everything Tim although you will never know how much you have helped me during my own dark times.

5 days ago we were in the car driving to a tack shop. I was on my phone just chilling in the passenger seat while my mom was driving. The radio was on by very low volume. Everything was quiet but then I heard the first beat of Wake Me Up. I shot up and my mom shot up to and stared at me. Tears started rolling down my face as she turned up the radio and started singing. My mascara running. She asked me if i wanted to change the station but I said no because i’m so glad that his music came on.

I started listening to Avicii just as he started breaking through in Stockholm. Late 2000's. I have so many memories with Avicii as the soundtrack throughout the years it's unfair to even name one. The song helped me change my outlook when I hit a rough patch fighting my BPD. The song convinced me to keep going because I know I had seen the sunshine before and will do so again that I have come a long way since my past and since my battle with my illness and that I can never look back because I was a different person from then. I've known Tim's music since 7 years ago but two years ago when i was in a very bad place emotionally i was running listening to my ipod on shuffle mode then 'The nights' popped out and just listening to the lyrics while running really made me think about life and all the good things in it.
