I met Avicii in 2013 from the track Levels, and from that day I fell in love with him, I was insanely happy with every creation of him, and when I learned in 2018 about his death I served in the army and jokingly I cried in front of colleagues, I am from Russia and I know that many people do not like us, but let's at least be together here and remember such a wonderful person.

Tim, your music was a huge part of my life, but Wake Me Up holds a special place in my heart. My grandmother adored it, instantly recognising it within the first 5 seconds and lighting up with joy as we danced together. She joked it should play at her funeral. When she passed last year, I played it to honor her. Now, it brings tears, but also gratitude for the memories. Thank you for connecting us across generations. I hope you’ve found your freedom and peace. You’ll never be forgotten.

When I was 18 my clubbing times were all about listening Avicii. Now we are parents still listening to his music with our children. It’s crazy how much you can miss someone without even meeting him. For as long as I can remember, I've been a fan of techno music and then EDM following attendence at EDC Chicago in 2013. Going to that concert familiarized me with some of the greatest DJs of that music genre among who was Avicii. In the last couple of days, I've watched both Netflix documentaries and the tribute concert on YouTube. I'm filled with nostalgia and sadness over how Tim's life had to end. His music brings me to some of the happiest times of my life and brings tears to my eyes. RIP.

5th November 2013, in Istanbul, I was on my way hospital to give birth to my son and ‘Wake Me Up’ was playing on the car. I remember concentrating on the lyrics and feeling the song was being played for me at that moment. I was so entranced by the music I didn’t notice that my waters had broken and I was in labour. Five hours later, my son arrived and 11 years later, this song still takes me back to that day when my life changed for the better. Thank you, Avicii. Thank you, Tim.

When I think of Tim I instantly think of the Coldplay song Stars it touched me as I grieved for my best friend and still does whenever I hear it . Not only were you a beautiful person but in every song and beat there is so much empathy thought and connection. His music touched my heart and soul deeply in 2014. I had purchased his cd and later that year was arrested and sent to jail for 1 year. Listening to his music driving before going away made me cry and made me deeply analyze how I messed up my life and how much my family meant to me and I thank him for that. I just watched his biography on Netflix and his last show and cried the whole time. No one's music has ever touched my heart like that ever. I truly miss him and his music he was a true star

I just finished watching the Netflix documentary and it just hit me deeply. He was, and always will be simply one of the best ever. My good friend was so impacted by him that he literally made his son’s middle name Avicii. It is tragic that people would think that with all of the fame in the world you would think that you’d be happy. It shows how mental health knows no boundaries and it is people like Tim that inspire me to be open about my struggles and share that it’s okay to not be okay. RIP

I remember when I heard my first avicii song when I was a kid, that song was “Hey Brother” and it was before I knew what EDM was. I didn’t know what it was but I loved it and followed his music ever since. When he died I didn’t think it was real and was in denial for awhile. I loved all of his music and connected with it. Watching the documentary really opened up my eyes about what he was like and his struggles. Thank you for all you did Tim. ❤️❤️

I was in high school when I first heard Tim's music. My friends thought I was crazy and they never really got it. Tim's music spoke to me and made me feel something. It still does to this day. He was the first EDM artist I had ever head and I was hooked. It breaks my heart to know he was suffering. Thank you for everything Tim. I hope you are resting peacefully. I hope you know you did create timeless music that will span generations and speaks to us even thought you're gone.
