I recently lost someone as well. To both Tim and my cousin I wish for the both of you to rest easy. Do not worry. Know that your legacy is preserved and will not be tarnished. I had no problems in life when my sister showed me one of his songs. I started getting depressed and since I started listening to his music I felt like we knew each other. I'm a 14 year old and you might not expect for me to have heard of Avicii I heard his single "Levels" and I loved it. heard it nonstop for a few years. then Music changed and when I heard on the News he died. I was heartbroken and remembered all the good times I had listening to his music. people thought of him as a DJ. He was not just that he was My friend. even though I never met him he was a Composer an Artist and most importantly a friend and family. Would do anything to get him back. ◢◤

I've been having a tough week so I listened to "For a better day"(The avicii arena version) and I listened to it over and over again with my eyes closed and I finally feel better. I don't write on here as much as I should but I wish I could somehow let him know how much his music has helped people like me. <3

I recently came across your song which reminds me my childhood -back in 2013- when you made a global hit with your awesome albums. I remember I played football with my friends while I was listening to 'Wake Me Up' and that was the first time ever I heard such a motivated and beautiful song. My family used to buy a song every friday and there were a few of his songs among the songs that I would always listen to. Some of his songs mean a lot to me and m ylife wouldn't be the same without him.
"Without You" hits harder after you died this song makes me cry every time. Finally you found some peace you will always be remembered in my heart at least.

I got to know Avicii during his videos. Fan for several years I was devastated to learn of his sudden death. My thoughts went to his family and close friends. I saw his film AVICII "TRUE STORIES" which made me understand his sometimes infernal way of life … Tim will remain a talented and invested composer. Too bad you left so quickly! You had so much to do and pieces of music for us to discover !!! We will never forget you !!! I LOVE YOU FOREVER !!

The music video I Could Be The One is a parallel to Tim's life. The woman here was live in a work-sleep-work pattern. She felt more and more frustrated by this situation. One time she woke up to find that the day was different; she was not alone and she was in a house overlooking the ocean – it looked like she was on vacation! This unusual situation gave her wings and stimulated her to life. After the woman rebelled and quit her job. As she was leaving the building she was run over by van.

I've never had such respect and love for an artist. Avicii always made music that people cared about. It was happy upbeat encouraging and the best music I've ever heard. 8 years later and the song 'Wake Me Up' still never gets old. He has touched my heart and encouraged me through so many rough times. I miss his music every day and it hurts my heart to know there will never be more. He put himself through hell and back trying to make others lives better. There will never be another as good.
My middle son lost his best friend to cancer in 2014 at the age of 16. The song "hey brother" used to make him cry but he's getting better now. I loved Avicii's songs cos they all had great beats and I too suffer from depression and stress and music helps cheer me up. The world is a sadder place without Avicii in it.

That was in like 2010. Then I heard levels wake me up hey brother and more. Waiting for love was really so amazing. Tim you are special. I started to read all about you. 2015- 28y/o struggling with a crisis responder job I loved but was killing me. New gf and a real friend group for the first time in years and on our first big night out in a car full of happy people I heard ‘I Could Be The One’ for the first time. I hated electro before that moment. Your music is a feature in the soundtrack of my life and its vibe helped me to be strong and be brave.
