If I'm being honest I didn't actually find out about him till about a week ago. But I was heartbroken to learn that he passed away.
i cannot believe that he died. i found out yesterday. i remember listening to "wake me up" when i was 4. i loved his music so much. for me they told such a story when the lyrics are sang out loud. the music itself is amazing. it's heartbreaking to find out that Tim died. he holds a place for music in my heart. i still listen to his music on repeat and i don't regret it. may god bless him and that his music will live on forever in our hearts. may one day we will see him again. ❤❤

Dear Tim I'm so sorry to learn of your passing. I don't really listen to pop music but my autistic son found your video for The Nights recently and he listens to the song almost daily. I looked it up to see who it was and I'm so sad to hear that you have left us for a better place. Thank you for bringing a smile to my son's face and for sharing your music and talent with the world. Your legacy will endure for the generations.

i think he is one of the best artists ever. whenever i have a hard day i put his songs and it feels like listening to a friend calming me down. i know for a fact i will never forget him or his music. he will live for ever in memories.

This isn't the first time I've written something on here… and it won't be the last. You really did change my life in fact you saved me. You inspired me you showed me anything was possible. I wish of all things I could've told you these things in your final moments… so you would've known how much your life has affected mine and countless others. I know you were carrying the weight of the world I just feel bad that there were only two hands to hold all of that up. Rest easy Tim.

So… I knew the song of Avicii but I was too young to understand the meaning of his words (The Night Wake me up…) but I grew up I learned I lived I understood. I felt the pain behind them because I have the same one I just wish to find peace one day I want to live first to be able to dream about it afterwards and have or say at least once "I have lived". So for me the music of Avicii means my innocence before my state of mind now and my strength to hold on tomorrow. Thanks Tim. RIP 🖤
Tim / aka Avicii you will always be one of my great inspirations when it comes to music and produce. The first time I heard Levels I thought … what a fucking anthem in terms of melody drop drums vocalloops… holy shit unreal ! … that song has radically changed me … I was 7 years old (2011) now 17 (2021) . You changed my musical tastes and it was thanks to you that my taste for EDM grew and in my free time I produce music partly thanks to you. Thanks very much Tim Claudia.

I remember listening to him when I was little. My mom would put him on the radio and me and my brother would always sing and dance to songs like hey brother and levels. It was some of the best times in my life and I am forever grateful for it. If somehow Tim sees this from heaven then I want you to know that you somehow changed my life and childhood. Thank you for that. Sometimes I still put on your music and pretend that I'm 7 years old and danced whit my brother 🙂

3 years later and no one else's music has helped through so much stress anxiety and struggles of life more than Avicii's. I'm continually thankful for him and his music. May Tim continue to rest in peace and may his legacy live on forever.

I grew up with my dad listening to Tim's songs. I have many fond memories of being in the truck jamming out to "Wake Me Up" and "Hey Brother" with my dad. We always enjoyed his songs and the joy it brought us. He'll be missed by us and we'll still listen to his music together in honor of him <3
