At that time I was only 10 years old and immigrated to a brand new country with my parents. I am neither familiar with the culture there nor do I know anyone. In those days when I was helpless I came across Tim’s music by chance. He is obviously different from the music I heard before. His lyrics melody and content are so inspiring and indirect. It gives me confidence in my future life. Until now I still listen to his songs often……

I remember downloading Spotify for the singular purpose of getting all the exclusive songs on the album. I remember the anticipation for "Stories" waking up early before school to listen to the album the day it released. I remember the hiatus and hoping for the best for Tim. I remember the hype I had when it was announced new music was coming out excited to hear the new sound. I remember the heartbreak I had the day he passed on. I remember crying for him.
I remember the first time I heard Levels as a young man. I remember being absolutely blown away by the melody as a kid and showing everyone in my house the song. I remember waiting in eager anticipation for True listening to all the leaks and rumors surrounding it. I remember the ripples that "Wake Me Up" caused all around the world. I was so happy that my favorite artist whom I had always turned to for easing my stress and anxiety was finally getting the attention he deserved.

I fell in love with Avicii’s music when I was around 10 years old. “Wake Me Up” had just come out and to this day it is still one of my absolute favorite songs. It led me to discover all of his music and every single song meant something to me. Tim you are missed so much. Thank you for bringing me joy through your music.
