Middle school was a very rough time for me and songs like Broken Arrows and Wake Me Up were my anthems. I remember sitting in the kitchen after church on sunny Sunday afternoons listening to his music while watching Danny Mackaskill videos. Avicii left us too soon. He will forever hold a place in my heart

When I was 10 I began attending a summer camp that would become incredibly close to me. "Waiting for Love" and "The Nights" were songs my camp often played. When I was 13 I fell into a massive depression. For three years I couldn't find meaning in life and debated why I kept myself on this planet. On one of my darkest days I listened to "Waiting for Love" again. I remembered camp and started working out and improving my health to that song. Avicii is a huge reason I'm happy again and alive.
Your music is life itself. The happiness and joy you left behind continues to help and inspire our children and future generations. Thank you for everything Tim.

I grew up listening to his songs. His music was extraordinary and so was he. I remember my brothers 18th birthday as we all screamed the lyrics to The Nights. That is one of the many memories i will hold dear of him and his music.
Your music has been so important to me at different points of my life. 'Levels' was the biggest song of my first year at University and – although I listed to it more often at the gym than in the clubs – it always takes me back to a good time. 'Wake Me Up' was the song of the summer in 2013 which I spent in Copenhagen with my partner (now husband). I listened to 'True' to push through studying at home alone. Some small examples of how much your music meant. Thank you.

Thank you for the amazing music Avicii. You influenced me so much. Also thank you for reciprocating a high five with me at labor of love in 2011. Being 6’4 I was the only one who could reach that high up to the booth on my toes.. security came right after and pulled me aside but you had smiled acknowledged me and give me that high five. (Sorry if it was annoying haha) It’s such a simple interaction but I’m so thankful that we shared that one moment in time. I’ll never forget it. Thank you!

Memories. I realized only now going to rebuild all with a friend of mine and remembered: 2 days after my return home from K8 I went on PC looking for new music as usual. A video on YT with lots of views for the time caught my attention. Was December 9 2011 LEVELS Video and guess Tim it was a Friday. I still can’t believe but it’s True.
