First time I heard him was on the radio in 2010 I was 6 he brought so much happiness to me a a kid and I went through a lot and his music brought me happiness and I just wished it brought happiness to him I loved him so much he was so young I'm sad but I am so happy he was on the earth he helped many people

I remember my first song heard from Avicii…it was "without you" and it felt like i when a little kid 's bare feet lands on soft grass for the first time. I fell in love with that song. And soon many after followed like "hey brother" or "waiting for love" ..to be honest. Every single song woke up inside of me a memories of me and my family being on a vacation and how we had a great time together..Tim was creating something that can't be replaced with anything. Thank you Tim♡

It makes me deeply sad how his severe psychological problems evolved under the pressure of the music industry were not recognized by his team and ultimately led to his suicide. I lost my girlfriend 18 months ago due to cancer at the age of 18. I think i can comprehend the loss his family feels. I doesn't disappear with time you learn how to go on with life but that pain and grief stays forever. Although I didn't know you personally I can indentify with you in a lot of ways..

Flew from the UK to Stockholm to watch the tribute concert and still cried at 'I could be the one' To me Tim's music has been the light in the dark and never fails to pick me up! – always and forever for Tim

From a young age Avicii's music spoke to me like no other. While growing up as much as I loved music I would never listen to a full album except Avicii. During high school I used to have to get a bus in the mornings which was filled with people who were rude and nasty however when I had my earphones in Avicii on I was suddenly filled with happiness. His music has always filled me with this euphoric feeling which still continues to this day. I am so thankful I was able to see him live. RIP.

First time hearing Wake Me Up I was still in highschool and up until today I still have goosebumps every time I played it on my phone. TIM was actually the reason why I appreciate EDM. I am 16 years old now. Studying in a high school about to graduate. A usual life right? No not for me at least I never ever in my life own a prize in my school no one except my classmate recognize me. Almost no friends and parental pressure for not being the first in the class. It's Avicii music through which I know who I actually am. A source of inspiration for doing something good to the world rather than just being the topper of the class.
