I used to live in Sweden and then came to Japan.In Sweden songs by avicii was every I went.And in Japan after avicii died some japanese elementry child start to hear about it and now its one of these kids favorite songs. Love from a teen living in Japan

My mom told me he was dead as we drove home from a track meet of mine. I shrugged because I didn’t know who he was. But I knew his music Wake Me Up Levels the Nights they were songs I recognized and I realized he was something else something special. Something more ascended than the rest of this world.

more than Avicii it was Tim who really marked my life. I still remember going to the kitchen seeing my mother cooking with the radio on full blast and “hey brother” playing on it. I’ve been struggling with depression and anxiety for three years now. Last year I was in the hospital when I was alone on that stretcher I thought about him the thought of him being next to me smiling happy because of that failed attempt made me hold on. He is amazing. I love and miss him so much.

Thank you for opening completly new world for my brain ears and my life. No words can describe that feeling when I heard LEVELS for the first time. What else to say… you make me…

I've listened to his music most of my life. Each and every time I did i felt free and could feel the amount of love he put in his music. It gave me an escape when i listened to it. Avicii endured his hardest times as well as he could do. He always made the best anybody could want and our reactions to his death can prove it. In my personal story I was pretty sad and upset about it since his music made me go through many problems I had and pretty sure others would’ve been helped too. Yes as everybody is saying he wasn’t really like a human. He was more of an angel that was just temporarily on earth. We all hope he’s flown high.

Quite weirdly came across Tim’s tribute show on YouTube from December 2019 in Stockholm. I’ve been unable to get Tim out of my head for the last two days. I’ve been listening to his music on repeat mostly the slow and meaningful songs with every word striking a cord in my heart. Is it weird or possible to miss someone you’ve never met? Tim showed me true music and I had the utmost pleasure to see him play live in Ibiza – the first ever play of “Wake Me Up”. Thank you Tim. ❤️ ◢ ◤

Levels is one of my first contact that I had with EDM. Then songs like Wake Me Up Hey Brother and Waiting for Love consolidated as my actual favorite EDM tracks. I can still remember the exact moment I knew of his passing.Nearly two years later everyone stills missing him. Rest in peace Tim.

Miss you

When I was younger me and my dad would listen to Avicii's songs in the car and me and my dad had a bad relationship at the moment. His songs would be my getaway from the real world and would pretty much fix my problems. Now that he has passed his songs bring back memories and I sometimes cry listening to them. My dad thinks it is weird that I still listen to Avicii but I think its special. His songs are the greatest that happened to me thank you for everything Avicii. Your #1 Fan!!!

I've listened to avicii since I was 6 his music influenced and inspired me so much. There isn't a day where I don't listen to his music and think about how much we lost in April. The only thing I regret is never being able to attend his concert to see how phenomenal he was. You will never be forgotten.
