My grandpa told me about Elvis Presley My dad told me about Michael Jackson Ill tell my kids about Avicii.

I discovered Avicii when I was going through one of the worst things that has ever happened to me. I was incredibly suicidal and I lost all hope in nearly everything. Then I found him. His music pretty much saved my life. Thank you.

His song ‘ the nights’ was in fifa 15 and I played a lot of that game with my father who sadly passed away the following year. But that song gave me so many fond memories and it is my favourite song. That’s not to say I didn’t like any other of his songs. I think all of his songs were absolute masterpieces. He is my inspiration and he is one of the main people who got me into music. RIP

You introduced me to electronic music and you are the reason for my deep obsession with this music genre. Thank you for the beautiful legacy you left behind. Wake Me Up was my childhood song!! I remember when I was in 5th grade and every time I would go do private competative swim lessons I would hear that song and it would make me happy!! Also Hey Brother and Waiting For Love gives brings back so many memories of when I would play with my 13U club volleyball team. I think that his new album that recently came out in June 2019 is the most beautiful album yet. The song Heaven is so true to me and it is such a blessing to hear every time I hear it.

Мне в то время очень нравился трек Wake me up. 20 апреля 2018 когда я узнал новость о его смерти это меня зацепило что очень странно ведь я не был его фанатом. Я решил послушать его песни и многие мне понравились. Я очень сожалею что не застал его концерт при жизни. Мне не хватает твоей музыки.

When I heard about his passing I was on the deepest point of.my depression and felt like his death was an attack against me against what I loved. 2 Months later I went to seek treatment because I didn't want to feel like I was having suicidal thoughts so often and thinking about it everytime the subway passed in front of me. A year later I have another perspective of life a decent one . Was my best decision ever I feel like a new person I can truly say he inspired me to seek help.

Avicii and his music came to me when I needed it most. His song Hey Brother was one that my two siblings and I always used to sing together when times got really tough like when my Granddad died and my parents split up. The Days and The Nights are two other songs of his that are so special to me. Avicii wasn't just an artist – he was a genius creator of masterpieces and I will never forget him and his incredible music. What a guy <3 We love you Avicii. I hope you're at peace now. <3

I listened to "Hey Brother" and "Wake Me Up" in 2013-2014 when they came out. In 2014 when I got FIFA 15 it featured Avicii's "The Nights" and it had beautiful lyrics and that got me hooked into his music. Rest in peace Tim.

While I never had the pleasure of meeting Tim in person his music really spoke to me on a personal level. There is a real honesty about his work from the lyrics to the wonderful melodies. Tim’s musical legacy is secure but my hope is his life’s story and his foundation will be his true legacy. There is no greater gift than the gift of helping others in need. Well done Tim well done.

Avicii was the artist that got me into EDM. The first song I listened from him was Levels but it was The Nights that got me deep into his music. I became a bigger fan the more I listened to his music. I followed with Waiting For Love and Wake Me Up and many other songs followed. I'm now a good musician and I don't think I would owe that to someone more than him. He was the guy that started it all and to think he once was someone like me shocks me. Thank you for the memories Tim.

With yr music I’ve so many beautiful memories but the most absurd thing I remember is having flown 20 hours in 2013 to see you play live in Perth but you were sick and both Brisbane and Perth were canceled that time. I was desperate for having lost the show without really knowing what had happened with your health. Although I had fun in Australia I spent the holiday thinking of you in the hospital without the chance to hear from you. A journey I will never forget for several reasons???

RIP. Society needs to stop the negative stigma on mental illness. Take stand speak up against the negative stigma on mental illness. Make getting help for mental illness a positive thing and not a negative thing. RIP to the best dj and singer that I didn't know that was part of some of the songs I liked.

I can't name how many nights with my friends and former girls I've spent with Tims' music blasting out of the speakers. His music is affiliated with every great moment of my teenages and young adult life. My prayres are with you Tim your friends and family. /Another Swede who left Stockholm to see the world
