I started listening to Tim from a very young age I was about 6 years old. His music for me was the beginning of everything despite my problems like epilepsy or my hemiparesis … For him I started as Dj I started to get my first remixes and songs for him my love for music began for I realized that my illnesses were not an impediment to achieve my dreams. Thanks Tim for letting me want to move on I will continue doing what I like the most and everything I get will go in your name. – Chile

I lost my leg when I was 19. I was dating a girl at that time and we were very much in love. After a while she suddenly decided to move abroad claiming that she wanted to earn some money for us. I wanted to believe her but was convinced that she was lying. I told her we needed to break up and that it would be better for her. One month later my doorbell rang. I took my crutches opened the door and there she was. I didn’t even manage to get a word out before she slapped me and I fell down.

5 years ago I had a gun in my hand ready to kill myself and i remember having a popup on my phone saying that avicii just released a new song. That was the night/the day EP so I listened to it and tell myself I wasn't over with my life. Avicii gave me the force to stay alive and and to live my life. Today I am really happy with where I am and I could never be more thankful for what avicii did. He's still my idol today and he will forever be.◢ ◤

I remember I was around the age of 11 it was 2013 and of course I was really jamming to avicci's song called 'wake me up'. I was so in love with this song I decided to draw the triangle symbol on my plastic drawer. To this day the symbol is still there and avicci will be in my heart forever.

Avicii was my favorite artist when I was a child. I was playing his songs constantly and dancing or singing along. I can't listen to his songs without tearing up now. He inspired me so much and his songs cheered me up. It absolutely destroyed me when i heard that he had passed away. I can't put my feelings into words. Thank you for everything Avicii. One of the first EDM concerts I attended was Avicii at the Hollywood Bowl and was super excited after watching his sets on the Ultra live stream for years. The setting was absolutely perfect as the Hollywood Bowl is one of the best outdoor venues to see a concert. Me and my friends danced the entire night and you could feel the crowd was into every single song. He ended with "Wake Me Up" and a huge 10 minute firework show over the bowl. Never will forget that night. RIP Tim.
