The Avicii Memory Board

I think a lot about the time I first heard Avicii songs. Shortly after the release of Levels I discovered some old tracks like My Feelings For You. Then Sunshine with David Guetta came out and that song was my favourite one for years. I heard it multiple times a day while playing on my PS2. Back then I've been looking for previews of upcoming Avicii songs. He really was the first guy I felt like did amazing music. All his unique melodies combined with special chords nobody could think of. /II/

When Avicii's album True came I was amazed at the depth the music had both emotionally and technically. The album quickly became a staple in my friends' DJ sets during car rides and anywhere music was an option. I was able to share his music with my family who were previously unaware of the electronica scene ultimately leading to my brothers and I seeing Avicii perform at the Hollywood Bowl in an unforgettable experience. I will always remember him for all the happiness and hope he gave to my friends and I. I will remember him for all the good he did. His song The Nights got thru a lot of hard times it made me realize that I don't a lot of money. All I need is a good life. I want to be remembered for being popular or rich I want to be remember for taking a leap of faith and trying. I went to an Avicii concert in June 2013. It was very spontaneous a friend of mine had got last minute tickets. For me Avicii's music turned into the soundtrack of that summer of me and my friends. A soundtrack of the pure joy love and excitement for the future that we had in our young (and maybe also stupid) hearts. Whenever I hear Silhouettes or Wake Me Up I get a part of that feeling back. Thank you Tim.

Sadly I got in love with Tim after his death. I only knew avicii. Day before your passing while listening to Without you I felt like I was in some kind of movie. The next day I won football competition and came back with limousine. Next thing I know that avicii is dead. And from that day I fell in love with you got to know your music. Why didn't I meet you earlier?
