I was having a hectic/busy day ahead of my father's upcoming internment at the National Cemetery. I was flipping through the satellite radio channels and hit "Wake Me Up" and I must say that in that moment I just felt so sad that a person 6 years my junior was in such despair. We aren't alone on this planet but there is no denying we can become isolated. As I am laying my father to rest I will also have Avicii in my thoughts and hope he has found the eternal peace he needs and deserves.

He has never loved or respected you. He was nobody to you and he had no right to judge you but he tore you to pieces. Followed Tim's music since I was probably 11 years old. I remember finding his early work on Soundcloud and started following his work even learning FL Studio and getting interested in music production. I'm 21 now. I'm not a fan of EDM but his music was an exception in all of that. His music pushed me through losses and wins ups and downs. I am forever grateful to him for that. His name and work will be with me as long as I live and passed down to future generations.

I didn't listen to his music often but when I did it made me happy. I feel horrible that I didn't find out about his death until recently but it made me sad. my favorite of his works was "Hey Brother". I am sad that he is dead but he is forever burned into our memory

My daughter (12) was listening AVICII and I started slowly to become a fan until September 2019 when I decided to make a tatoo on my shoulder (the sign). One week later I went for a jogging with a open shirt that let my tatoo on my shoulder visible. Several cars horned at me this was special. post scriptum: next January I will be 60 and this was my first and will be my last tatoo. Fan for ever Ph.

When I was little I felt "waiting for love" in a shop. I didn't understand the title of that song but I kept humming it for 3 or 4 years until I got back to the same store and I could understand the title. It was too late. A few days later I learned of his death. His music made me dream and he still does it today. I love you Tim. Love from Italy.

Personally on YouTube I'd cut off dislike hand under Tim songs. The opinions of others must be respected but not those of who don’t have a soul and don’t even seek it. When I first heard wake me up at a school dance I was amazed by the energy it brought with people dancing and singing along that brought me great long lasting memories.
