4 years ago I wrote Avicii's management an email explaining how I was a college student in the US and how big of a fan I was. So in other words I wrote a similar email to the hundreds of emails telling the same exact story. To Avicii it didn't matter. Within a day I had a response from his team thanking me for the support and offering a gift of a signed picture of Tim. This not only showed me the kindness of the team but the way Tim liked to treat all humans with love and respect. RIP

i think about you every single day! you inspired millions to go after their dreams and work hard. Listening to your music makes me break down and cry but in some ways it’s helps me remember all the memories i’ve had while you were alive. i wish you would have realized how amazingly special and talented you were and that life will always go on no matter what happens. thank you for impacting my life you are the reason i’m still fighting. love you.

I wish Avicii would know that there are so many people who care about him and his music. All of this to end in suicide? Why wasn't Avicii helped when he needed it most? I've never heard him speak(unless you count the music video for the nights). I've never been to any concerts of his. I still think he is the best DJ that ever lived. He will still be the best DJ even though he's dead

I have suffered from severe depression since as far back as I can remember. I have been admitted to the hospital two times in the last four years after attempting to take my own life. I am a musician and music has always provided me with such bliss and comfort. Whenever my illness would get the best of me and I felt I wanted to end my life I would listen to my favorite Avicii songs and they would give me the strength I needed to live another day. I owe Tim my life. Rest In Power my friend

I always come back to this page to this site. It's hard to come by once because you're remembering someone as good and as strong as Avicii. He was a strong soul who fought for so long no matter what he came up against he did it. He was a true golden soul who made everyone smile and feel inspired and have hope. Avicii when I had heard you had passed I was in tears I just couldn’t get over it . After it I kept listening to your music over and over again because that’s how I got through this. As I listened it brought pain to my heart that all you hard work was put into all your songs and was an amazing tribute to have. About a week ago the song ‘heart upon my sleeve’ released. This song means a lot to me. It brings back memories from my eating disorder. I used to be very depressed and suicidal. Now I am stronger than my thoughts. I learned a lot in the clinic and accept myself the way I am. The first time I heard the song I started crying. The vocals are beautiful and deep when they sing: ‘Where are you? Now that I need you most..’ its like screaming to my illnes but Im grateful that Im alive and well❤️
