I have suffered from severe depression since as far back as I can remember. I have been admitted to the hospital two times in the last four years after attempting to take my own life. I am a musician and music has always provided me with such bliss and comfort. Whenever my illness would get the best of me and I felt I wanted to end my life I would listen to my favorite Avicii songs and they would give me the strength I needed to live another day. I owe Tim my life. Rest In Power my friend

I always come back to this page to this site. It's hard to come by once because you're remembering someone as good and as strong as Avicii. He was a strong soul who fought for so long no matter what he came up against he did it. He was a true golden soul who made everyone smile and feel inspired and have hope. I miss you Tim hope you're partying hard up there.

Avicii when I had heard you had passed I was in tears I just couldn’t get over it . After it I kept listening to your music over and over again because that’s how I got through this. As I listened it brought pain to my heart that all you hard work was put into all your songs and was an amazing tribute to have. To this very day I still can’t believe you have passed and have went to a beautiful place ‘Heaven’. Please up there keep me and your family safe Tim we love you and miss you so much ?????

About a week ago the song ‘heart upon my sleeve’ released. This song means a lot to me. It brings back memories from my eating disorder. I used to be very depressed and suicidal. Now I am stronger than my thoughts. I learned a lot in the clinic and accept myself the way I am. The first time I heard the song I started crying. The vocals are beautiful and deep when they sing: ‘Where are you? Now that I need you most..’ its like screaming to my illnes but Im grateful that Im alive and well❤️

Tim made me happy every single day since I listened to his music. I had my first kiss while I was listening Levels a few days later I discovered Wake Me Up I listen to that song every night to feel calm and happy. I want to thank Tim for saving my life from depression. The song 'The nights' saved me from a very deep episode I suffered a few months ago. Always my brother always in my heart.

Thank you so much to Tim’s family and friends for rescuing and releasing his unfinished work. Just finished listening to ‘Tim’ and it’s full of the lushest most gorgeous music. It’s outside the tech/prog house I normally listen to but that was the point with Tim – he was on a journey and we were following him – expanding our own tastes as well. Which makes it all the more devastating that he left us so young – to appreciate where this young man could have gone in his life.

I first discovered Tim’s music back in 2011 when I seriously got into the EDM scene when I one day came across a song called Fade Into Darkness that turned my whole world around my music listening experience. I fell in love with his stylistic approach to how mainstream EDM would come into play and loved every album he ever released. Thank you Tim for so many years of wonderful music and releasing music that helped describe every moment every relationship I ever ended up in through your music.

I was hoping for a spaghetti and meatballs related death. Literally I was expecting him to slip on a plate of Italian dinner and break his neck or something. Makes me incredibly sad. Didn't really like his music though.

I first discovered Avicii when I was 13; and he forever determined my taste in music. I would just sit and listen to his albums over and over each time being like the first. Not only did I fall in love with his music but also his energy and vibe as an artist. His spectacular personality really shone through all of his music and the effort he put into it both in the beats and the lyrics alike – he was an international treasure.

You never want to hear the words out of a doctors mouth "I don't think he will make it".
