To write this comes with a heavy heart. While I only saw him once. Any song of his that wqs played it would always bring a smile to my face. I can only hope that his family has solace in that he brought so much joy to millions of people even if they didnt seen him in person. All I have say is thank you. I discovered Avicii at the age of 45 and none of our friends (also my age) had no idea who he was. He is my favorite EDM DJ’s. It’s heartbreaking that he passed on at such a young age. He was the life of the musician at a party that myself and my wife saw in Vegas. My heartfelt wishes to his parents. He was a genius at spinning the right songs at the right time and my wife and I will miss him and his music.

2013 was a rough year. Till this day his music helps me through trials. Without having cellphone service I would be limited to 30 minutes a week on a desktop computer. I would immediately head to the computer and search Avicii YouTube to remind me of how happy I could be. After overcoming mental illness my prayer is that people recognize the signs and and help others in need.
We shared a birthday so I always felt special when I listened to your music. Your music has made the world a better place and will continue to. Tim's music makes me always happy even if Im in bad mood. So sad I couldn't make to his shows but I'm waiting for album "Tim" and definitely i'm going to buy this. It just hit me that this is the last we’d hear of Tim’s music. Music thathas created so many memories for not only me but millions of others I remember the first time I got into EDM was when my brother was playing “levels” and I walked past and loved it. After Tim past away I was at a party and requested “levels” and it brought me back to the start and brought everyone joy showing how uplifting his music is. Since then I’ve been inspired to start making my own music.RIPTim thanks for the joy

As músicas do Tim me ajudavam me davam um "up" quando eu estava triste e em estado crítico e a partir disso eu desenvolvi um amor muito grande por suas músicas e diria que até pelo DJ. Quando soube que ele encerraria sua carreira fiquei muito triste mas depois compreendi que era por questões de saúde e mesmo hoje depois de sua morte levo-o em meu coração.

I followed Tims music from when I was a teenager. We were both making music in our bedrooms at the time and we both had big ideas and dreams. I remember getting so exited for the latest release of a music magazine that sat in the studio with him and I watched it over and over again trying to pick up tips. Tim was a musical magician that changed dance music.. A melodic genius that deserved every accolade that came his way. The world is a much sadder place without him. RIP Tim
When my father passed away I wasn't able to do anything. One day I went onto my computer I was searching how to get over loved ones that passed away I found the result "Listen to Music." I went onto a YouTube and listened to the song "The Nights." This song perfectly fitted my situation. That's when I started listening to your songs. I absolutely loved everyone of them. There wasn't one that I didn't enjoy. RIP bro I always did and always will love with all of my heart.
Although the man's music was not a large part of my life it much like the dozens of others still live on in my mind and in the minds of others. Tim's passing took a lot from the people who were the fans that constantly listened to him who looked to him for inspiration for hope for beauty in musical form.
