I was young 5 or 6 years old. My sister and I hated Avicii and with passion. My friend was offended I hated him. She made me listen to all his albums I feel in love with his music and listened to it everyday. I then lost taste and moved on with memories. I never knew his real name and a couple months ago my friends and I changed my name to Tim. I recently learnt his real name. This will always stay meaningful to me.

As a kid I didn't think much about music but now that I am a teenager I have discovered the amazing power of music. I rediscovered Avicii while taking a trip down memory lane when I listened to Avicii's songs as a child I never understood the meaning behind the words but now I can relate to so much about his music and I get to enjoy his songs on a whole new level. Rest in peace Tim untill our paths cross once more.

I feel like I grew up listening to Wake Me Up. I can't forget the 20 times my 7th grade language art class watched the music video to Hey Brother and every single time I'd fall into tears. His music was inspiring and upbeat even when his life was not.

He made me love creating music. I miss him so much as if i knew him. I dont. But i know his music and i can relate to some of the struggles he might have had. I have a lot of social anxiety. Thankfully i have loving friends but i still cry and feel sorry for myself every night. If it wasnt for avicii’s music and the imaginary world he opened for me to escape into i would have been in a very dark place by know. Thank you. And to his family. I Remeber the first time listening to Avicii early in the morning before HS and from there it was history. Avicii put me on to EDM music and changed my life and kept me having hope with his songs. He'll truly be missed but never forgotten!

I have just watched the documentary on Avicii on BBC iplayer having been a huge fan of his since he started. I was so moved to watch it & it made me see my own day to day struggles with life good days & bad days but listening to his music helps me so much.
