I discovered Avicii in late 2014 on the radio. He rose to one of my favourites quickly and I listened to every song. My favourite song of his is City Lights. I never have forgotten him since April last year.

I can’t listen to “Hey Brother” without crying. In a few years I’ll probably be crying for “Waiting for Love” too. You gave us so many gifts. Thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart.

As the oldest of my siblings I’ve always felt responsible for my younger siblings. This became even more real when our parents divorced. I listened to the song “Hey Brother” one night by myself and it was one of the most moving things I have ever heard. The song and the emotions it contains still brings tears to my eyes. Thank you for this gift to the world.

I was a fan ever since Levels came out but the song that truly changed my life was ‘Without You’. The moment I heard that song I had intense goosebumps and shivers down my spine. It was at that moment where I started producing my own music. Whenever I feel unmotivated I listen to few of Avicii’s tracks and I instantly feel motivated again. Thank you so much Avicii for inspiring not only me but millions others. It’s a shame I never was able to tell you this in person. Rest In Peace.

Avicii is also inspire me so much his music improve day by day. I also did 2 times surgery and i know the pain and medication cant prevent that and i was recovering from my 2nd surgery that time "tim" leaves us and i was totally shocked and stuck. That was really bad feeling for me but his legecy and music stayed mr calm. I cant express much more about that time and i am also learning about music production coz he is my favourite and one day i want to do a tribute for him. R.i.p tim

An inspiration that helped me believe in who I am.

Avicii was one of the first to introduce me to the edm culture. Levels Silhouettes Seek Bromance and of course Wake Me Up were constantly on repeat everywhere i went. You felt not just rhythms with those songs in my opinion you also felt soul which i cant really say i feel in alot of other artists (no offense love you guys ?). Its been about 7 years and i still more than ever get goosebumps when i play my favorite tracks from him. Tim’s legacy will forever live on. Much love brother!

Most nights my son won’t sleep unless there’s a couple of songs and “song movies’ before bedtime. Most nights he picks “my song’ (Levels) and ‘his song’ (Broken Arrows). Even my two year old is comforted by your music. He isn’t old enough to know your story but some day I’ll tell it to him. Then I’ll tell him mine. How during the darkest times in my life when I wanted things to end music music like yours made the pain tolerable enough to keep going. And that’s why he’s here. Thanks 4 that.

My first-ever EDM show was at my university in 2011. I heard a bit about Avicii and obviously heard the song Levels beforehand. The concert was nothing short of amazing. I went sober but everyone in the crowd thought I was on drugs because of how much fun I was having. I've been to 100s of shows since & that one is still my favorite. All of my hobbies currently are enveloped by EDM. I write for a blog and I interview up-and-coming producers. Ty for introducing me to this world Tim. Much love.

I first heard of Avicii in 2010; I was pretty young then. Maybe 10. My family has this cabin by a river and we'd go there with our cousins frequently. My cousins and I would bond over his music arguing over which of his songs were the best. We'd sit in a circle around an iPod and just listen for hours. Listen to the pure art.
