Tim was the very reason I got into electronic music. “Seek Bromance” was the very first song that made me fall in love with EDM/ House as well as fall in love with the genius mind of Avicii. I’ve been an avid listener every since. The memories that I have created while listening to his music are endless. We lost a true legend but as they say Legends Never Die. In this case neither will his music!

Avicii was the one who got me into music in the first place and his music helped me connect with my a lot of friends. He was the one who got me to where I am now with the power of music. In the music video "The Nights" there was something that really stuck with me "That’s when i decided when I die I will be remember to the life I live Not the money I made". He did just that.

2014 was a bad year for me until i first heard of " The night " which inspired me to enjoy this wonderful life as much as I could. It was then when I started to listen more and more of his songs. His songs guided me through the hard time and kept me living until this day. Sadly he has gone forever but his music will always play a big role in my heart. one of my friends told about the song and I just listened to it the lyrics and then the drop.it was the most meaningful song I've listened to. It was "Wake me up". from that day onwards I listened only to Tim's music. His music helped me overcome some of my fears. The music that has been released after his death won't even come close to the music that he produced when he was alive. Avicii brought me up when I felt at my worst moving losing my brother moving away from my mother. Even losing my first girlfriend. I first asked who made Hey Brother back when it was popular on the radio. Even I used to listened to the radio… but when I heard that he passed last year I wasn't really believing it at first but I searched it up and I was struck with just… wow that actually… He didn't deserve to die early he was a great man an even greater musician.

I used to listen to Avicii every day and I still always do when i found out he was gone it felt like my world was gone I was broken but his music inspired me to keep going forward to keep reaching for my dreams I wish Tim was here Tim will forever be a part of me and I will never forget him.

When I learned that you passed away I had been listening to my “Avicii and friends” playlist on repeat for several hours a day it was what kept me going working 90+ hours a week. It still is. When I first heard Avicii's music back in 2011 with his release of Levels it was then I knew that I was experiencing a new perspective of EDM music as I wasn't really a fan of the genre before until I heard Level's by Avicii 😉

Avicii was really big when I was in highschool it seemed like among all the other songs avicii stood out and there was always a positive vibe/atmosphere with his music. There are memories attached to aviciis songs that whenever I hear them I'll be able to think back on the good times thanks avicii you did more for me than I ever realised. RIP

Whenever I was down and didn't see the point in living Avicii and his songs were right there to make everything good again.

I still remember when Wake me up would be playing all over the malls supermarkets and radios all the time and I didn't even know who Avicii was but I still loved the song it really puts me in a good mood. I didn't learn about Avicii until late 2018 then a few months later I learned he committed suicide and I was laughing not because he was dead but because he committed and I was laughing at that because suicide is never the answer. SOS is probably the last track we hear from Tim. RIP
