I was at an author talk. She'd found a song that represented her story and played it. A vibrant upbeat electronic track came on. I fell in love with that song. That song was Hey Brother. Thus I became a fan of his music. Until that night. I was reading an article… And it came up in recommended. "Avicci Dead at 28." I refused to believe it. It had to be fake news. But no. I cried all that night. Listening to nothing but his music. You will be remembered. Not forgotten forever in our hearts.
What was and still is different for me when I listen to Avicii’s music versus to the regular music like this genre is that his music bears some essential message of happiness and love which is beyond human understanding.

I´m just another fan more but I would like to say what I couldn´t told to you before. It´s never too late to discover good music I was 13 wen I hear "Levels" for the first time. You will always accompany us wherever we go the children of these days will grow up and you will be in their memory and the children of the future will discover what Avicii is and I´m sure that they would fall in love as I did. This loss is very palpable by all of us.
My teacher told me once that I should find music that defined who I was. I was bullied devastated had no identity. I found Tim I found that music and spent hours and hours listening to it. Today I am happier have loads of friends and I am happy with myself. For many your music got them enjoyment. Without exaggeration I was close to end my life. For me you saved my life and made it better. You made me all that I am and much more than that. I can never be grateful enough. Love
Some of my favourite memories were shared whilst Avicii played in the background whether it be partying with friends roadtrips or late outdoor summer conversations with my family. I had not listened to all of his songs nor was I his number one fan yet his passing stirred something deep inside of me and made me appreciate all the beautiful moments I had that were accompanied by his masterpieces. I will always be grateful for that Tim and his family should be incredibly proud of his music.

I remember my brother telling me about Avicii for the first time when we were on a road trip. I heard Silhouettes and I started crying. The music was to pure so distressed it made me so emotional. When I heard my brother scream from his room I went over and asked "What's wrong?" he responded with "Avicii has died." I started crying I couldn't talk to my friends I got stuck in a bubble of depression for months. Miss you Tim Wish you were here <3

I was a year abroad in the US and right beforehand „Wake me up“ was released. Since I stayed in a pretty big house I convinced my housemates to throw a party every week. Every week it was packed. And every week I played „Wake me up“. Whilst not much appreciated in the beginning it became an anthem for all of us and still is. Up to this day people text me whenever they hear „Wake me up“ saying that it reminds them of those days The song will always be an inspiration to me. Thank you!

At that time I wasn't really interested in music TV-channels but I was really bored and decided to keep watching for a little bit. Levels was one of the very first edm songs that got me interested in the genre I remember hearing it back in Highschool in our senior room. And then in University listening to the new songs with my best friend whenever they came out listening to hey brother together.

I still remember I watch the song "wake me up" on the TV and I fell for that song over and over again. At that time I didn't knew who is Avicii or Tim or his music I just started to listen to his songs more and more after that. That's the time I realised this is the true music I love and he define the EDM in his own way. That music bought my life back together. You're the true definition of my teenage. Thank you sm Tim.
