A lot of great people passed away in 2018. I'm sad that Tim was one of those great people. I still have fond memories of when me and the first person I became friends with were having a blast dancing to wake me up back when I was 11. Thankyou for bringing joy to me and many others through your music.
Helped in the darkest of times
The only thing i am going to regret is that i never get a chance to see him live. Avicii's songs created a huge impact in my life. everytime if i get sad or feel not good i just listen to his music. i still got goosebumps when i listen to "Hey Brother". that will always be my favorite song . REST IN PARADISE brother!!!! TIM (1989-2018) FOREVER IN MY HEART .
My greatest memory of Avicii comes from his song "Waiting for Love." Though I didn't know much about EDM when I first saw the accompanying video it helped me appreciate the power of music and narrative as well as give me a musical direction. I still listen to "Waiting for Love" from time to time because all we really are inside can be summed up in those three glorious minutes. Come on wouldn't you be inspired by a song like that?

Depression is so deep on a level most don’t understand. Tim’s music makes me feel like I’m not alone. Hearing his new song being released makes me so happy to hear a piece of him again but sad knowing he couldn’t be saved and that after June I won’t have much of him to look forward too. He is and always will be a beautiful soul!

His music helped me through so much My grandfather passed away 4 days after Avicii died and it was a very hard time for me but his music really helped me get past that hard time! If not for 'the night' I never would have found the courage to ask my girlfriend to date me. That song gave me the courage to face everything in life head-on rather than using my depression and anxiety as an excuse. Tim's songs will always have a special place in my heart. I've been dating her for 4 years now and we will finally be meeting next year.

Most important moments in my life can be linked to an Avicii song. I was going through a really tough time when he dropped The Days/The Nights and that reminded me that there is more to life than the current moment and that I should enjoy every moment I can and actually work to enjoy life. Listening to Avicii brought me back from the brink of committing suicide and I am so sad that he had to deal with such pain as he brought me out of.

I was in middle school when I heard my first song of Tim's (Levels) and ever since he's inspired me to even through the tough times never lose hope. I've been learning to make music and hope to one day release a song in his memory. It's been nearly a year since he passed and it's been the most challenging of my life. But we keep going. We keep going because you gave us the belief that tomorrow will be better. And that there IS a light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you for everything Tim.

The first song I've heard was "Wake Me Up" and after that I have been hearing his music ever since. What broke my heart was that on April 20th in 2018 two days before my birthday I saw the news saying that the man that's music has kept me going through my life has died. I started to regret how I never was able to see him in one of his concerts. His music kept me going through the rough times and even hearing it over and over again I never once got bored of it I never could. REST IN PEACE!!!

When I heard the news that Tim had passed I was devastated I didn't believe it I didn't want to believe it he was the reason I started making music. My favorite song of his was "wake me up" the guitar was so amazing the structure of the song was beautiful it was a life saver it helped me so much throughout the years. R.I.P AVICII ◢◤
I started enjoying raves in late 2013. Tim was one of the DJs I wanted more than anything to hear live. His music was something different still is and always will be. I never got to hear him live but I did attend EDC in 2018 and heard a bunch of tributes to Tim. It was powerful seeing the impact he made. Although I'm saddened by that fact I'm glad that he's in a better place. He left an amazing legacy here that we'll all be able to look back on. Miss you man! I know you're killing it up there

It shattered my heart to hear that Tim had passed away and that he was struggling with a terrifying illness that haunts so many of my close friends. Tim’s music was and will forever be special to me; it has been a part of my life for such a long time. It touched my heart and I’m sure I’m not the only one. Avicii aka Tim's music got me through a lot I also have mental health problems and struggle with suicidal thoughts and attempts. It saddened me when I heard of his death on the news but as "Straight Into the Fire" says "Take your dark days and send them to the sun and carry on" I might not have known you personally Tim but I love you and your music RIP. <3
