i still remember the first day i heard levels.it was 2010 that time levels was still unreleased.from there i met a new whole genre and became a die hard fan of the one and only avicii.avicii was the only reason who made me to fall in love with edm.I was so excited about his new album.i remember i used to listen nonstop the teasures he used to post on instagram. i never cried for loosing any celebrity except Avicii.He was he is and he will remain my idol. i started listening to avicii back in 2013 the song was ( Wake me up) then i never stopped listening to that song it inspired me so much and i always loved avicii songs! avicii was a important part of my childhood he was like a family to me but i never get upset because i know he’s still alive through his music and he will always be alive in my heart!!

When I was 12 I was in the car one night with my mom. She was driving and playing songs on the aux cable. Then she told me “Hey David check out this song called “Blessed” by a DJ named Avicii.” That was my first ever EDM song. I never stopped listening to EDM since then. Now I produce my own music and I’ve been trying to get gigs to DJ at clubs. EDM is a dying genre in my city but everything I do now I owe it all to Tim. Tim inspired me to stay true to my sound and led me to find my passion

I remember listening to "Wake Me Up" and "Hey Brother" when I built LEGOs as a child creating worlds of my own at the counter next to the staircase. I fell in love with Tim's music more and more as I listened to his songs on repeat. I can still recall playing "Friend of Mine" when I first began dating my girlfriend and how his more poignant songs resonated with me when my life seemed at its worst. I will forever miss you Tim. I may have never met you but I still think of you every day.

Avicii was my #1 favorite artist around the time I graduated high school. Every time he released something I listened to it on repeat. Sadly I only started raving long after he had stopped touring. When I heard he was going to return I was so excited. It broke my heart that his story came to the end it did. I cry when his music comes on even today. We all could stand to remember Tim and always show artists love and never hate so that this tragedy never happens to another ever again.

I remember my sister introducing me to music when I was around 7 and became so touched by his music growing up I’m now 15. My dream was to one day see him perform in Tomorrowland when I grew up but that dream isn’t possible with the one man i always dreamed of meeting. I got the news during school and I was so hurried to go home i almost cried during class because of how much his music impacted me but I would love to thank him for his music and memories of me and my sister singing to his music.

One man can save millions but millions can’t save one man.

Damn I miss him so much. I was always looking forward to his next single and his next album. Even when there was no news on a release in sight I knew it eventually would come. This will be the last one. I feel like it’s the end of an era in my life. All the great music he put out is associated with a certain stage in my life. He made my life better. His work made me so happy. Part of me is excited for June but the other part is very sad because it’s likely there won’t be another release.RIP

That minute I had fallen in love with dance music and with your music. Even though you're not with us anymore your music is the the spark that ignites the lifetime of happiness and joy. I spent a good part of my teenage years listening to your music which I still do today. Living in Sweden at the time made it even more special as your music was literally everywhere quite frequently. I was fortunate enough to see you play in Gothenburg on Summerburst 2015 and it was fucking amazing the energy and atmosphere was indescribable I'll never forget it. Thank you for everything. Man that concert in Caracas Venezuela was one of the first ones I went to. You were killing it with all those new tracks. "Superlove" was the one I listened the most back then. I remember listening to all your podcast on iTunes (I still do sometimes). I started to workout at the gym and I was not only listening to your music but I was actually aware of you because I wanted to hear from you. You were the best and you will always be my top 1. So when I was a freshman in high school I had a lot of relationship problems an in order to escape from things I was going through I would turn to Tim’s music especially wake me up that had a whole new level of meaning to me it helped me stay strong his music made a positive mark on my life I will always turn to his music even know you are gone you will be remembered an be loved forever ??

Levels introduced me to EDM. Wake Me Up changed my whole perspective of what EDM can be and became one of my favorite songs – something Tim managed to do again with Without You. Avicii was one of my two favorite artists of all time with more songs in my favorites than anyone else. He was like me introspective and only cared about the music; he poured his soul into it which is why you can still feel his soul through it. I think we would've been good friends. I saw a lot of myself in him.
