The Avicii Memory Board

Aviccii was the first EDM artist I ever listened to back in 2011. He opened up the flood gates to EDM music to me and got me into the music I love today. When I found out he passed the next day I went and got a tattoo of the album art from Stories (water color and logo) on my wrist. He is such an inspiration to all.

Such a sad tragedy. Through your music you made millions of people feel at times when most thought it not possible. After I watched True Stories it made me feel like I knew you because the documentary was so emotional and real. I began to feel your pain. You gave insights to so many that have no idea what a daily struggle EDM or Touring is. It is an eyeopener for the young artists to come. It is painstaking now to listen to your melodies. You are a legend and legends never die.

Wake Me Up was the first song that I heard of Avicii. It was immediately one of my favorite songs of all time. He changed the world of EDM forever. By far one of my most favorite artist of all time and made me fall in love with EDM. He changed my perspective on music and his music will always mean alot to me. Tim you will be missed.

In the summer of 2014 Wake Me Up was one of the songs that we played almost every day. Every time I listen to that song I remember one of the best summers of my life. His music meant the world to me. Rest in peace Tim thanks for everything you gave us.

I used to say that somebody else is better than Avicii because I never fully discovered all of his songs. But when I saw the documentary “True Stories” I realized that he has a potential to inspire people and he had a heart that touches people not only through his amazing songs but the way he is him. When Avicii died I was too late to say that he really was the best. For me I don’t think he wants to be remembered as the best DJ but rather a great person who changed and inspired people. ♥️U

Avicii was my first idol. I remember my English teacher gave us an assigment about our favourite artist. I did my presentation about him. I remember that back in 2012 not many of my classmates knew him but since that moment they associate him with me because of the passion and effort that I put into that presentation as all I wanted was to show them my idol. I even made a poster! I will always remember him while thinking about my teenage years because he was the perfect soundtrack.

I'm 14 and there's no words how much Avicii changed me. Growing up as an outgoing yet introverted person I grew up loving dance music since I heard Wake Me Up in the radio. Even though I've never been to one of his shows it was always a dream seeing him in person. Knowing that ain't possible now I still listen to his music and remind myself of how much he changed a lot of people in this world. We miss you Avicii and you would always be a legend that lives on. Tim made me love electronic music my first tattoo was his symbol on my wrist. When the news came that on March 29th he would do something that would change the scene I thought it was a new album but it was his retirement on my birthday I cried. But I was happy because I knew he needed this rest and I was also happy that he was enjoying his vacation and also producing a new album. When I heard of his death I shuddered. I look forward to the posthumous album. Wherever you are thanks Tim.◢◤
