The Avicii Memory Board

I got hooked onto Avicii after hearing The Nights in my 6th grade art class. Now I'm halfway through 7th grade and I have listened to almost 10 of his songs. My 3 favorites are The Nights Wake Me Up and Without You. I once listened to The Nights 4 times in 1 school day. His music inspired me so much. He is one of the best dj's ever. I will never stop listening to his music. Avicii är en sann legend. Rest in peace Tim. You will be missed.

I just watched the Swedish Grammy’s. You received an honorary prize. They showed a beautiful video compilation of you. And your dad held a touching speech. I hope that you got to see how loved and missed you are. Your music have lifted my spirit and given me more memories than I can count. It will be played at my wedding and my funeral. Thank you for inspiring me to work within the electronic music scene. Wherever you are I hope that you are smiling.

Tim inspired me to love and help people and his songs was so good i always listen to my favorite song wake me up that helped me when ever i was sad and scared he hepled alot of people and so on.

I recently watched your documentary on Netflix and your music brought back so many fond memories of when I started listening to EDM. For my first music festival my best friend and I attended EDC 2014. We were so excited to see you live for the first time and you played "Wake Me Up" at Circuit Grounds. I'm a bit late but I guess we never are for these kinds of things. I'll start with a thank you Tim. I'm young (currently 14) but you've been a part of my childhood. When I was around 9 my best friend and I used to sing your songs and dance on them. These are such good memories. Now I keep listening to your music but in a different way. Your style is unique. So I'll end with one more thank you for what you gave. You're an amazing person you make all of our lives even better than they are.

I saw Avicii play at an under 18 Sydney festival in 2015. I was very young and absolutely stoked to see him live. I had the most amazing unforgettable time and his performance was nothing but phenomenal. Listening to his music still takes me back to that incredible day and is a feeling I will never forget. RIP

I was listening to Avicii after 6 months he passed away. A fellow at work told " He already passed away right why are you listening to his music". I told him if your brother dies will you not have his photograph in your home? I miss my brother my friend my best friend. His music inspired me where should I go for my inspiration in life now. It's not a love story but in 2012 Avicii was playing in a festival party called H2O in Johannesburg South Africa and me and my cousin (festival mate) we didn't had enough money to attend that year. We were just moving from High School to University. SO after that we start chasing Avicii around the world and in hope to see him back to South Africa. But unfortunately we heard the news 🙁 . He will always be remembered <3. I am Mozambican and we have to travel to SA to festivals.

I went on my honeymoon to Thailand in February 2018 and every beach bar that we walked into was playing EDM. I never knew what EDM was being from a farm town in America but in the two weeks that I was there I fell in love with it. Not knowing who Avicii was at the time I fell in love with his style and songs more than any other and after a few months I started downloading music and researching and found out the tragic news. Thank you for leaving us with everything you did. Rest easy buddy

At first I did not believe it but when I got home and got into social networks I could see that it was not a rumor or a silliness. I love Nights he was right about him wanting to be remembered for the music he made. He was the first main artist I can remember listening to and he deeply touched me and millions of others. We all miss you and hope no one will ever forget either you or your music.

I just recently watched his Netflix documentary. And it has touched me so deeply. I also deal with anxiety and as I watched I felt his pain. I could see that people saw him but didn’t hear his pain didn’t understand his struggles. I pray that he is in a better place. May God have him in his glory and be testing in piece.

Avicci in Hindu mythology was a place where those who have endured the punishments of life go to be reborn. This name that this man picked wasnt random nor did it mean nothing at all but truly represents his life. He went through life struggling as we all did but sometimes darkness can be worse for others than it could be fr use. He endured his punishment and now awaits his rebirth just as his name suggests. Your music inspired many and inspired me with the feelings it gave. I will miss you…

I never had the chance to meet Avicii. He is another soul who got lost in the darkness that mental illness does to a person. I believe we all got to see him at his best… but even then… that darkness won and we lost a beautiful talented and truly amazing human being. If you struggle with mental illness seek help you're not alone. Don't let it win. This world has lost enough beautiful souls.

I don't know what should I write cause I will never able to express how deeply it has affected me that Avicii is no more. He was the reason I got into EDM music. I'm a very strong person but that night I cried so bad. I still cry whenever I listen to some songs of Avicii like "hey brother" I wish I could have got one chance to go to his concert see him live. I really hate him to leave all of us like this and take such steps. I will hate him for this for making me cry lonley ps: I love you. <3
