I just watched the Netflix documentary. Tim could have been my middle child. My heart broke over and over watching Tim struggle to fulfill his professional obligations at the expense of his own mental health. Tim was trying in his own way to educate others about mental illness we should be grateful for that. I was only ever able to see avicii one time and that was at edc 2015. I’ll never forget standing in the crowd crying because his music literally saved my life and showed me light in times of darkness. He may be gone from this world but his message in is music and his love for his fans will be with us forever. Avicii was my first real EDM love. He came up when I was already out of college and “too old” to be partying. But some of the best times of my life have an Avicii soundtrack behind them. Countless nights in Atlantic City seeing DJs who are a fraction of his talent. Many workouts completed with the sound of his energy behind them. It breaks my heart that I’ll never be surprised by a track with his brilliance behind it again. RIP

Hey Brother the song 'Hey Brother' has been my favorite song ever since I know it. Once I was listening to it while I received the new that the loveliest dog in the world had died (Pupsy). After that I always associated this song with his death. But now 3 years later I stil listen to this song and I don't get sad anymore when I hear it. I haven't forgotten Pupsy but this song is just to good to associate with something bad/to not listen to it. Love you Avicii you did so much for others !! Xxx
