I have always been a massive avicii fan . In my car on my way to work i would sing ‘ sunset Jesus ‘ so loud . His death shocked the whole wide world . Why didn’t they listen to Tim ? You could see him literally on a Netflix documantary about his life crying / begging for help . They knew how he felt about touring about performing front of a thousand people sometimes up to 3 gigs a day/ night. Instead they chose to ignore it and choose the money … You will forever be missed … Team Avicii

When I was in junior high my brother introduced me to Avicii's work. It was the catalyst to my love of Electronic Dance Music. The spark that ignited it all. This music helped me focus on my studies which led me to become the diligent worker I am today. Truly he will always be a part of me. I can imagine thousands could say the same. I never will forget the impact he had on my life especially during the time of my life where I found myself. Thank you Avicii.

Tim your music shaped EDM for years to come. The sheer passion and love for the art of music expressed through every single one of your songs be it the big radio hit taking the world by storm or the lesser known progressive house anthem played at live shows your music helped us when times were good and when they were bad. Rest easy Tim I'm sure everyone up there is being blessed with the chance to see and hear your incredible talent for the rest of eternity.

Who knew music could be so touching?

My fisrt electronic music concert was from him in Mexico City on 09.03.12 it was an increible night the moon was soon bright. I felt everything through his music. Avicii gave the best memories I have his music was always present at important phases of my life. I grow up with him. I cried his lost not only because he was gone but also a part of me was gone too. He had a lovely soul and as he said one day we'll leave this world behind so I'm living a life I will remember. Forever yours Tim. <3

Patty You are right. Of Avicii i knew 2 songs and i knew about Tim much too late. but i agree with you. He was not a DJ he was an Angel creating music producing music and DJing. It makes me think of a book that saved my life a few years ago " La musique de L' Ange". Just like the book His music saved many lives. Maybe that book would have saved his life too.

First song I've heard from him was Levels. I Instantly fell in love I didn't follow him as much but I kept in touch with the stuff he releases. My favorite song of all has to be Waiting for Love that song has really shaped my image to EDM. I only looked at EDM before as a bunch of sounds that was mashed in together with the use of electronics but after hearing that song it redefined what I used to think of EDM in the past. You were a big inspiration to me and many Avicii. Your music lives on
