I followed your music from the moment I heard about you online. The documentary was so depressing knowing you gave up your life and sanity to create a product that nobody can ever replicate. You were the Heath Ledger of music and history will never forget you. A quote from my cousins funeral that really reminds me of your life is "the brightest candles burn at both ends". Thank you for using your amazing gift to make the world a better place. We will always miss you.

Started listening to his music in 2010. Never saw you live unfortunately. Picked a few other acts to see or decided I did not want to be in a crowd that big but the True album was amazing. I had it on repeat for a long time. But your music got me into my unhealthy addiction to electronic music. From the party to my own personal production your music was at the start. Thank you. Tim I didn’t really know a lot about you until I watched your documentary on netflix. I knew you created amazing music but I had no idea what a genuine sweet person you were. Your passing shed a light on the mental health problems that come along with being a celebrity/ musician and having rigorous schedules. I think you taught us the importance of self care. You did not leave this earth in vein I cherish all the brilliant music you left us with and hope to see you again soon. Thank you Tim?
Tim’s music got me through my toughest times…Wake Me Up Hey Brother and my favorite The Nights are just some of the songs I adore listening to because they remind me of those times and how I got to where I am now. I am now mother to a wonderful baby boy Mau to whom I rock to sleep with The Nights and have a happy little family. Thank you Tim your music lives through all of us ❤️ And to your mother: thank you for raising such a wonderful young man with a kind and generous soul.
I just watched your documentary and I simply can find no words to describe what an incredible human being you were. So saddened that we didn’t get a joy of seeing your evolved self here among the humans but you are surely shining brightly with your fascinating talent and limitless kindness up there in the sky among other angels. I just watched the documentary of Aviccii. What a charming talented young man! I’m a 55 year-old Mother with two teenagers. We dance to Aviccii’s music all of the time. I’m saddened about his loss what an amazing composer! I hope adults will learn to recognize when they are pushing a personality that shouldn’t be pushed. He knew his limitations but nobody listened. RIP Avicii.

Being a student I dealt with a lot of anxiety and maybe even depression because I didn’t know who I was and I listened to your music because it makes me feel happy and hopeful about my future. I really miss u ❤️
The first time I heard his music I automatically fell in love. His lyrics not only connect with me but also inspire me. I knew as soon as I heard his music I wanted to be a musician and have now been a musician for about 10 years now. He has brought so many people together and will continue to do so.

And one more thing i have a friend who looks similar to AVICII so when i miss AVICII i call him and tell him that i love AVICII.

This was by far the most devastated I've been since that day. I look back on the first track I heard from him called "Wake Me Up" with Aloe Blacc. From that point I fell in love with his music. It's a shame that he passed the way he did but I sure hope that will be more people like him someday.
I thank Tim so much to give me an other perspective on life. Everytime when im having a moment that going bad I'll listen to 'The nights' and then I just do what i love! Thank you Tim! We will always love and remember you❤️

Avicii got me into EDM with Wake Me Up and Levels I recently started getting back into him in the last 2 years and I was excited to hear what the future held for him. I was absolutely shocked when I found out he passed. The world will never forget the impact he had on music and I will never forget the impact he made on me.

I am a 43 yr old mom of a little boy. I also love electronica and have for 20+ years. I am watching the Avicii documentary right now from my home in San Diego. I watch as a mom first and foremost and all I keep saying is "fk the money." What a strong deep soul Tim was. He has paved the way for others to be open about their mental health and reminds us to keep that as our first priority. His enchanting music and soul lives forever. To his mother: you raised a beautiful baby boy.

I miss Avicii. I can still not believe that Tim left this world in this age. I will let my children and my grandchildren listen to his songs. I first saw Avicii when i was a junior in High school in HartfordCT in 2011. My first concert ever. It was the best experience of my life. I still remember sneaking my neon outfit under a normal outfit so my mom approved the outfit. The great ages of teen rebellion. Avicii opened my heart to EDM. Fast forward to 2 years later. August 2013 my little brother committed suicide from bullying. I was devastated and Wake me up just came out then. It was the song that got me through the toughest time

For more than 8 years Avicii was just my favorite DJ the only one who filled my soundtracks of the happiest years of my life. I was crazy for the growing sound and beats typical of Avicii. I was dancing for hours. Now there is Tim the kind of man I could love forever if only I found an equal one. You taught me not to waste time. I leave the old loves behind. I know what I want.
