I just finished watching the incredible Docu-Story of Avicii on Netflix. I never knew that Avicii dealt with the same things I still struggle with to this day. It isn’t really the addiction to pain meds why we have a similar story but more the anxiety and anxiousness we have dealt with day-in/day-out because of our need to be someone that other people want us to be. I just want to say thank you for sharing your story with all of us. It’s helped me understand myself a little bit more. Rest now

Last month I texted a radio announcer via some App to thank him for still playing your music (the first time I ever did something like that it felt odd). He replied that although you passed away people are still asking for your music to be aired. I think this desire proves your deep impact in a lot of peoples lives. Hopefully somewhere over the rainbow you get the chance to see or feel the love of complete strangers for you and your music. Thanks for everything you shared with us so far.

I have listened to his music from 4-5 years of age. I am now 16 and l'm gonna turn 17. Still to this day I get the same feelings as when I first heard his music. Hope Inspiration Happyness and Comfort. Vila i frid Tim du var och kommer altid vara min förebild❤

I originally didn't like the genre as I was a classical pianist and am part of a our school's batch band but together with Kygo I never knew back then that Avicii would be the man that would inspire me to start dwelling into and making electronic music. I always thought that songs such as Levels and from "TRUE" are absolutely fantastic. He has and will forever be one of my big inspirations to keep making the most out of life and maybe thats why I'll keep pursuing that big dream

I was sitting in a restaurant the other week waiting for my teriyaki when your track "Wake Me Up" came on the radio. There was this little boy couldn't be but 5 years old sitting at the table across from me. His little foot was tapping to the music and we both looked at each other and just got big grins on our face. At that moment I knew that you would live in every child's heart and that night I saw and felt your positive energy. R.I.P Tim #AnxietyIsReal #LegendsNeverDie

Just watched True Stories. It was a pleasure to get to know Tim. I hope his story positively influences others who are struggling with similar problems. We need to not only learn to take care of ourselves but look to take care of others! Rest in peace.

I am in the U.S. Military and I love EDM house techno trance hard style. Avicii was my favorite DJ and a musical genius. His music helped me through some very tough times in the Military. Levels is my favorite song ever. I am a fan of every song Tim created. I listen to his beautiful music every day out of respect to my hero. And my deepest condolences go out to his family and friends. Avicii was a "one of a kind" artist who will be deeply missed by many. Rest in peace Tim Bergling.

“There’s an endless road to rediscover” I need to stay strong. I have loved Avicii for a long time. My favorite songs were Hey Brother and Wake Me Up. I just found out today he died. I am crying so much right now as I really loved his songs. In either 5the or 6th grade in chorus we sang both Wake Me Up and Hey Brother. (About 4-5 years ago now) . I miss you.???

I remember listening to your set at EDC Las Vegas in 2015. I remember getting lost and meeting a random person that lost his group. I traded kandi with him & we were listening to your set and singing along to it. I remember "silhouettes" was the first song that got me into EDM. Your music really speaks to me. I like music. When i feel myself bad i listen music. One day i found Avicii. I like many djs but Avicii was my fovarite. I listen his music everyday many years. But one day i open tv and see this news "Dj Avicii is dead in Oman". I cry i just cry. I cry everytime when listen his music after this. R.I.P Avicii. Jag lyssnade första gången på Aviciis album Stories när det just hade kommit ut jag satt vid TV:n och kollade på några program med mina föräldrar sendan tog jag fram min telefon och lyssnade på musik och det var då som det kom fram låtar av Stories. Jag blev förvånad och började lyssna på låtarna och sedan lyssnade jag på andra sånger som han hade lagat. Ända sedan dess har jag sett upp till honom och önskat att jag skulle få se honom men nu är det försent…hoppas han fick det han sökte :/

I've never lost someone dear of my family just grandparents but I didn’t feel the same pain I feel for you every day for months. I just saw Tim (Avicci's) documentary on Netflix. My heart is broken. I know a lot about bipolar and can tell you that without doubt Tim had bipolar and was going through episodes of manic and prolonged episodes of depression. I can see his behavior in the movie. He must have not been treated properly. While the movie talks about pancreas and other issues it does not deal with the truth. I hope for the sake of the fans to bring awareness his family brings to light his true struggles.

Avicii inspired me to make music. His music connected with me in so many ways. i Remeber the day of his passing it was early in the morning when the news reported it i woke up 3 mins after the report i was so gutted and almost cried. Avicii was like a friend i havent met yet. Thanks you Tim we all love you and miss you. I still cant believe your been gone almost a year now. Hope your resting well brother <3

I booked his ticket in shanghai once and it got cancelled I wish they told us he was not well I wish he asked the fans if he should rest and let us tell him we will still be here when he is well and ready. I had heard avicci's songs through a friend.. Loved all his songs and felt a strong connection with him. Since then have been listening his songs and loving them. His death left me sad and in tears.. It was horrible to see how your own crew didn’t support you with your difficulties constantly trying to convince you to continue touring out of obligation especially when that one guy said to think about how much money you would lose. I was so angry and felt sick hearing that b/c instead you lost your life! ?

I had heard of you and your music before but I had just taken a break from the EDM scene and wasn’t too familiar. I Just watched the documentary. It was heartbreaking to get to know you through the documentary after you passed and to see all of your struggles especially with your health yet obligate yourself to your music performances and fans even while in severe pain. I got the distinct impression that everyone else got to enjoy your career more than you did and that is truly sad. RIP.

His music was what got me through my years at high school and college. I felt how much emotion he put into his music and how much he loved what he did and I hope that this music will help future generations get through. I had no idea what I wanted to be and do and felt as though life was dragging me face first.. When I listened to his music it was as if time had slowed down and I was in control. I just want Tim to know that whilst you made music you loved we loved music you made. RIP ❤️

I remember hearing of your passing and thinking oh another person taking their life. However I just had the opportunity to view the Netflix documentary and I'm so sorry. I could see the pain you were in you were exhausted and trying to take care of yourself but without the support you needed. While not familiar with all of your music I could see just ow dedicated to creating exceptional music. Hoping that you have found the peace you so much needed in your life.
