I grew up listening to him. I know so many of his songs by heart. I wish his family a good life dealing with a person passing especially in this way is hard. I know this because my dad died the same way when I was 11.

Toen ik op de gepest werd vond ik eigenlijk altijd mijn uitweg in jouw muziek. Vanaf de eerste paar hits die ik hoorde tot de laatste ben je altijd mijn idool gebleven. En dat ben je nog steeds. De documantaire van jou was erg heftig en voor mij een schok om te zien hoe moeilijk je het eigenlijk had. I lost my husband suddenly at 29. It was all over the news in my town and I was young and scared and had all the strangers looking at me judging me. the song wake me up totally summed up how I felt It voiced all my fears and worries and my wish to check out till I was older and wiser. That song held me together for yrs. For my kids and me to be here today! I wish I could have thanked this young man and told him how his music saved my life and gave me hope it would all be ok someday!! Peace

Upon hearing the song my life was altered. This was the type of music I would come to love listening to. The kind that would move me. The kind that made me want to produce.
