Eher zufällig habe ich die Dokumentation über Avicii bei Netflix gesehen. Nun gehen mir seit Tagen die Gedanken an diesen talentierten so sympathischen und doch irgendwie in sich gefangen und ehrgeizigen Mann nicht mehr aus dem Kopf…Es ist wohl zu akzeptieren wie sein Leben war – und doch hätte ich ihn am liebsten herausgerissen aus dieser Maschinerie der Verträge Festival und Labels weil er so wunderbar war und ist! Seine Musik & er selbst wird immer bleiben immer geliebt getanzt geleb

I just watched the Netflix documentary wow what a story… this makes me reflect back … avicii was my first electronic artist that made me fall in love with the sound… his sound… i saw avicii 3 times live. My first show I ever went to was in 2011 when I attended university. He was playing 2 different nights at the Guelph concert theatre I attended both shows. The following summer I attended veld music festival in t.o… his music made me feel so alive! Thank you Avicii rest easy ❤️

You are the reason i started making music and it's because of "wake me up" that i started learning guitare. Rest in peace brother.

My girlfriend and I were embarking on an early test of our relationship a road trip from Pittsburgh to Arizona to move me across the country for an indefinite work assignment while she remained in Pittsburgh. We listened to Wake Me Up on repeat for much of the trip. It was on this trip I realized I needed her in my life forever. Within 6 months I permanently relocated to Pittsburgh and we've now been married 3+ years. This song still takes me back to those early days in our relationship.

It is so sad to see such a talented person go. You have so much more to give to the world. You will always be in my heart.

I just really loved his music. It made me happy. It shaped and changed how I listened to music. It made me want to dance and cry and live life inspired. I met and bonded with many people through it. When he passed I will admit I had not listened to much of his music for a while and it felt like I'd betrayed him but I realize now that his music was always there for me. It pains me that we couldn't personally help him. I thank him for giving us so many beautiful songs and changing our lives.

I remember when I first heard Levels that's when I realized I fell in love with EDM music. First ever EDM concert I ever saw was Ultra I always watched it live since 2012 and I remember Avicii playing his set. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen on a screen. He had such an impact on music in general and he has always been such a great inspiration of my producing dream. I wish I could just like him one day. Rest Easy Tim.

Growing up in the UK Avicii's song 'Bromance' hit the UK charts followed later by 'Levels' and I fell in love with his style. It's crazy how much melodic presence Tim's songs have and it feels like each and every song has a different set of emotions yet keeps stylistic elements to a perfect degree where you could always tell it was Avicii. Overall Tim's songs have helped me through so many different decisions in life and through his music he will live on Rest In Peace Tim you will be missed!

Avicii was a extremely talented human being. His music touched so many souls mine especially. His passion & dedication to his work showed no boundaries. A life lost too soon. I always associated Avicii's music with positive energy and feelings and especially memories. It is heartbreaking that such young talented person departed so early but if that can be a grain of consolation his legacy will last on trough collective memory of us all who were touched by his musical creations and especially of those who are yet to get to know his songs for the first time. I listened you for the first time in 2009 from that moment I fell in love with your songs and your melodies until today I listen to you but when you went to another life I had a creative block in terms of creating melodies beacuse i could´t believe it. Every once in a while I get melancholic and sad about your departure since you were and will be my inspiration it's sad to think that I can not go to a show of yours that depresses me thanks for everything you will live in a part of me.

honestly i didn't have a story with Tim's music until now. I recently viewed his documentary and it was the most touching thing I've watched. I want to be here for anyone that struggles with depression anxiety or anything that overwhelms their thoughts. We cannot let another beautiful life go.
