Aviciis track ‘wake me up’ helped get me through the darkest of times. I was in a bad place and extremely lonely 1000’s of miles away from home. But putting my headphones on and listening to wake me up helped me to get through the day. Aviciis death made me realise I needed help which is why I’m in the process of CBT and taking medication. RIP to a truly inspirational artist

I whished to be like the guys in the video not supposing you'll ended up this way… I'm so sad but I want to thank you… you lived a life I'll remember. Avicii you helped me to look at life from another point of view. Looking at the positive aspects of life rather than looking at was was wrong with it. Your music inspired me it helped me to find out who I really was and who I wanted to be. Your music went along with me whenether I was going through a rough situation and it has given me the strenght to carry on and don't give up. You will always be remembered and loved.

I lost my sister-in-law to depression days before Avicii died – in their memory and in memory of my friend Marco who also lost his life this year I'm going to try and live a life like the one Avicii showed us in The Nights. Thank you for the music.

I keep thinking about all Tim did for me that I never got to thank him for. How his lyrics and beats help me get through bullying and depression myself. Tim’s unfortunate passing has a huge impact of me. I actually feel heartbroken until today. His soul will live forever through his music. It’s somewhat heartbreaking listening to his music because you can really feel him. You can still feel him through his sound and that’s the greatest gift he left for us.

Avicii’s music always inspired me from the minute I heard Levels. It energized me when I didn’t feel confident in myself. Now whenever I hit the gym an Avicii song is always on my playlist. And I still listen to his music loving it. It still gives me the confidence I may lack. RIP Tim you will forever be remembered!

I remember being younger around 9 or 10 and my dad being Swedish showed me the music of Avicii. Then as long as I can remember I was listening to his music especially Hey Brother and Dear Boy and lastly his famous Wake Me Up. I had a small pink Apple iPod which had Avicii's music as I got older I got phones new phones new music. Avicii slowly faded away from my playlist. Recently years later I was cleaning and organizing my room and found my old pink iPod. I charged it… and cried.
