Thanks to his music Avicii could help me to see the life in a different way especially in dificult moments. I don't know him but Avicii is like a friend I think this happens to all of us and I know that I'm going to miss him and I never will forget his lyrics. "Live a life you will remember"
Just a small suggestion: there should be a moderator on this site… I was reading through some of the posts here most of them are amazing but there are also "trolls" that enjoy insulting Tim… You gotta be sick in the head to write things like "rot in hell" on the memory board of a deceased person. I know I'm kinda late but Avicii and his music has had a huge impact on my life. His songs helped me get through each and every day and I won't let his death be the reason that I stop listening to his music. I will keep my chin up and hope he's doing well in heaven. His music gave me hope and strength and something to look forward to when my grandmother was suffering with pancreatic cancer for 5 years. His music helped me become the person I am today.
Avicii brought me into EDM world. I fall in love with his music the first time I heard Wake Me Up. It was not like other dance music you play in the party. The lyric has deep thought and it was like a poetry. Ever since you announced that you will not do living performance any more I have been waiting for you to come back. I’m from Barcelona and 3 years ago Avicii went to a festival here named ‘BBF’. At 2015 I wasn’t allowed to entry by my own to the festival because I was 15 years old and I remembered my desiree to see him in live at that time I thought that I will have more chances to see him. Then he will retire from dj but my hope to one day can finally see his return were alive. When he passed away I felt very bad inside me. Because of him and I started listening edm music . I am just finding out about this and it makes me real sad to know about this learning that his cause of death was suicide i would like to let you all know it is never the answer there are many different ways to deal with sadly it was to late for us to do anything for him please everyone remember never commit suicide.

Before I knew who I was and what I was I heard Avicii's songs and was inspired that some day I would like to be someone as inspiring as him. Until 3 days after his death did I know that those songs that inspired me was from Avicii. He had influenced who I was and had died before I had a chance to some how give back to him. It had broken my heart then but it is over now and lastly I would like to say thank you for everything he had given me and the world.

I grew up listening to Avicii. His was a household name someone that everyone just knew. My childhood anthem was wake me up and the memories I have associated with it are endless. It feels so weird to know that I can never listen to a new song on the radio and think 'hmm that sounds like an Avicii song'. I'll always remember him and the mark he left on my life as well as a million others. Thank you Tim. From the bottom of my heart thank you.

The last months have been hard for someone like me who hurts so much but found comfort in your music. It may be extremely narcissistic of me but I feel ready to carry the torch for you now. When I was 17 I had a very hard crisis about my life and my dreams I felt depressed for so long I totally lost trust in people around me because of some evenements and loneliness was killing me. But Avicii helped me since I lissened to Waiting for Love for the first time something changed in my mind it was like i found again the strenght to fight between the lyric. Stories helped me when I was depressed and I feel so bad now because I couldn't help Tim when he was in need. RIP hero

My friends and I fell in love with Avicii's music back in high school shortly after Wake Me Up came out. We would play his songs during track practice to make the runs go by faster and to lighten our moods. We desperately wanted to go to one of his concerts but unfortunately we were too young to do so. We dreamed of the day we would finally see him perform. I really hope you found your peace Tim. I really do. Rest easy.
