avicii is for me one of the legends of music. As well as MJ or Mozart. He revolutionized House Music. It made me want to make music. What I'm doing now Thank you Avicii
I'll always remember the times of my childhood when my family and I did a stupid dance to Wake Me Up. You brought such inspiration and passion towards the music genre and revolutionised the DJ industry. I hope you can rest well knowing you've left such a positive mark on the world.

The first song i heard made by tim "Avicii" bergling was wake me up and it has been my favourite song since then and still is. it was the first song i ever learned to play on a guitar. it is timeless when you passed away i thought it was a joke but it wasn't. it was true. tim has been my biggest inspiration and he is the reason that i started making music with garageband in 2013. he will always have a special place in my heart he will never be forgotten. rest in peace tim "Avicii" bergling

Tim I have so many fun memories that involve your music! The most memorable was on my way to my first EDC in 2017; we all played your songs in the car on the way to Vegas and SWORE we’d see you if you ever performed live again. When you passed away a year later I graduated from college and put lyrics from “The Days’ on my grad cap and I still listen to your music every day. 🙂 I miss you so much! God bless you and your family. Thank you for everything.

I first heard Levels when Tiesto played it in El Paso TX back in 2011. It was beyond anything I heard at the time. This led me to Avicii. From there his music left a mark on me. I gladly consumed what music he had at the time and eagerly awaited more. It changed the way I saw and heard electronic music. He definitely left an impression on me. May his music and his spirit continue forever. R.I.P. Tim
It’s really heart breaking to see someone die when you know that he/she inspired millions of people around the world and it hurts even more when that same person commits suicide… I knew Avicii since I was in fifth grade and when I saw the news I felt empty inside. His music was different from any other electronic music his music was calm and inspiring. There’s barely any people that can make something identical and that’s what made him special… “You will always be remembered Tim” R.I.P

It is Avicii that brought me interest to mainstream electronic music. I was in elementary school 8 years old at the time when "Levels" which was far different from my musical tastes at the time played on 97.1 AMP Radio. I was puzzled. It would only be a few years later that I would start obsessing myself with electronic music and numerous electronic acts (although I am a tad displeased with today's mainstream electronic). And so I give you Tim kudos from the purity of my heart.

Maybe i should write in swedish but then again you never did in your songs what i know. However I will never forget the day i heard about the terrible news it was me and some friends here in Sweden. We had eachother a cozy fire and your music in a JBL speaker. Then later that evening the sad news came so we turned the volume to the maximum capacity.

I casually discovered Avicii in 2011 with his masterpiece "Levels". After that moment I started to listen his songs and I start to "live" after a very painful moment. His songs have been there in every moment of my teen age. They made me dance they made me cry. They were significant. I loved EDM out of listening to Avicii’s mixing. I was not a EDM lover but after listening to his mixing I immediately became his fan. I have always dreamed to come over to Tomorrowland to listen and see Avicii mixing. Maybe its time for him to start his mixing in Heaven for the Almighty’s up there. Summer 2013…my 9 year old son and I driving my little car to the south of France . Heartbroken'cause the love of my life broke up with me. The only positive he left was an USB with music. The first number on it was Wake me up from Avicci. My son and I played it all the time on our two day drive and it became the theme of this holiday: strength love energy and me and my boy on the French highway driving away from the pain and heartache….
To be completely honest I wasn't that big of a fan of Tim. I just knew him through his songs. There is definitely something about a famous person's death that just makes him/her explode of popularity. I don't know why but it happens. I did become a big fan of Avicii after he died and I respect him for what he was and what he did for the community. I want to thank him for all the comfort he gave to all the people who listened to his music and he will be remembered. May you rest in peace Tim. 🙂
