Avicii was the first DJ I ever listened to. He was the one who brought EDM to my life and I couldn't be more thankful for that. Thanks to him I've lived amazing moments and made incredible memories. His music got me through some of the toughest times of my life brought light to my darkest days and nights and put the biggest smiles on my face when that was the last thing I could think of. I'll miss you forever Tim. You have a special place in my heart and I will never ever forget you.

There are two reason why i wanted to born in the 80's : live the daft punk ascension and live the avicii ascension. Music means so much to me and both changed the game. They literaly broke the rules and taking electronic music in a whole other Level(s). The fact is that i was born in 1996 so i was too young to be part of the avicii story all over the world so i just enjoyed all this time watching those lives those thounsand of people uniting for the same passion. We love you Tim thank you.

Tim your music inspired me to want to get into the business. Id listen to your melodies everyday and feel happy and warm. You make me want to spread this kind of joy. You deserved so much more and id give anything to have you back producing. Not a day goes by where i don't think about a new song coming and knowing your not working on anymore kills me. He was my favorite. I loved his music so much. I still cry every time i hear a song of his. He united so many people and made the world a better place for all of us . I will never forget him. I just want to say that I'm grateful to Tim's family for giving us fans a platform to share memories and to express our sadness/respect for their beloved one. It means a lot to me because I don't know any fellow Avicii fans personally and don't have anyone to talk to about all my emotions – grieving the passing of your favourite musician/celebrity is often considered weird. One of the best Djs I've heard. His talent and imagination brought his music to another level. I had the chance to see one of his first shows on Electric Zoo NY with my brother where he released Levels and I knew he had something special. Then I had the luck to see him 2 more times in Ultra Miami. He will be missed but his music will live on forever and we have to cherish that. RIP Avicii.

I remember how it all happened and let me tell you a short story: It was Friday 13 of April. My friend and I went out for a ride. I told him to put some Avicii muisic on so he did. Waiting for Love my favorite song. One week later i was going to look up some avicii wallpapers for my phone and i see that Avicii was dead. Since that day on i have drawn the avicii logo on my wrist with an eyeliner and when i am older i will get the tattoo. I cry with Waiting for Love. AVICII FOREVER

Avicii is the reason I get to live my dream every single day of my life. If it were not for Levels the first EDM song I ever liked the song that inspired me to make electronic music I wouldn't have my career. I wouldn't have my friends and I wouldn't have the most satisfying thing in my life. Rest in peace Tim. You touched more people's lives than you'll ever know.

I've only seen Avicii performing live three timzs in my life and it was the best shows I ever seen. Avicii was is and will be forever a truly genius and one of the best artist in the whole dance music history. He brought us so manu new melodies such as his critized show at Ultre 2015 which appeared to be a real success. Discovered Avicii in a glorious night of July 2010 in High club Nice where I live. Change my musical life forever since that day listen to his songs everydays from Manman to Without you. I was so shocked when i heard about his death that i couldnt believe it was true ( im still shocked …) Edm and the global world of music will never be the same after that. I never really heard much of Tim's music but when I do I'm dancing it out. Very sad to hear that Avicii/Tim has died. I heard that it was from suicide. Avicii I promise to listen to more of your song. Thank you… You will be missed my dude.. <3 :'') Rest in Peace Avicii. May you make the dance floor of heaven a party to be.

+ If I miss Tim to the point of thinking about him on various occasions/crying everytime I see another tribute/hear his songs on the radio or on TV then I can't imagine the amount of pain his family is in. I just hope they feel the love coming from his fans. I hope HE felt that he was loved. I wish it was enough to make him stay… But the meaningful uplifting music he left behind warms my heart and the countless tributes to him further prove that he is a legend and will never be forgotten <3

My dad passed away 1 and a half years ago the best thing I remember is listening to "The nights" while I was "Waiting for love "…RIP AVICII!

Serving the army in my country is a must. After joining the army I was depressed for a few months and was considering to simply end my life. I then discovered Avicii and his songs which got me back on my feets and got me happy again. Ever since whenever I feel down I simply listen to Avicii’s songs. I own him my life and I even tattooed his arrow as well as his sentence “Live a life you will remember”. Thank you Tim will never forget you and your songs.

Tim’s music will always be with me and will be passed down to my son.

Don't know where I can start this story with. Tim ever since me and my friends heard of your song Levels – we couldn't stop listening to your music. The ideas and creativity which pursued your career was remarkable and it made our days and nights better because of you. We danced laughed cried to your pieces always keeping up with previous expectations and even further. I will never forget the impact you've made on this world and from a long time fan for the last time: Thank you.

I sent The Nights to my dad for Fathers Day and he got all emotional. That song has really made me think about my life and be determined not to waste it. I always regretted that I didn't travel but I am determined to now. Don't let it slip away.

Though I was familiar with a few of his songs I never became an Avicii fan until after his passing; I googled some song titles and realized I've known his music way before I got to know who he is. It's a shame I couldn't see him grow as an artist and didn't know much about him and his struggles until now. It's not fair that those with pure hearts and great talent leave us too soon. There isn't a day I don't listen to his masterpieces knowing I will never get over this loss. +
