I found Tim’s music when I was 12 or 13. I saw him live when I was 13 in Stockholm. It was magical the lights the music the people jumping and singing in unison… I grew up listening to his works and I’ll keep on listening to him for years to come. I first discovered Tim’s music back in 2011 when I seriously got into the EDM scene when I one day came across a song called Fade Into Darkness that turned my whole world around my music listening experience. I fell in love with his stylistic approach to how mainstream EDM would come into play and loved every album he ever released. Thank you Tim for so many years of wonderful music and releasing music that helped describe every moment every relationship I ever ended up in through your music.

I was hoping for a spaghetti and meatballs related death. Literally I was expecting him to slip on a plate of Italian dinner and break his neck or something. Makes me incredibly sad. Didn't really like his music though.

When i first heard of Tim's music i didn't really get it and didn't care much but when my ex introduced me to his music years later I fell in love my favorite one is "Without you" I don't think he really knew how much lives he had impacted thank you Tim rest in peace.

Avicii was my whole childhood and his song "without you" touched me so much. I had to move away from home cause my mental health was so bad. "Without you" was the song I always listened to it reminded me of my friends and family but also that I have to grow and learn. That I need to learn to do things on my own and have more trust into my self. Now I'm 16 I graduated and work with children now and his songs inspired me on my way there. Thank you Avicii?

It makes me so sad this poor tortured soul who struggled against his hedonistic life. He was an amazing talent who seemed to be caught up in something that was out of control. Miss your amazing music miss you ?

I just realized my incredible connection to Tim after watching the netflix documentary. I am awestruck and speechless. I will continue to remember him and what he stood for as he has already impacted my life. I first discovered Avicii when I was 13; and he forever determined my taste in music. I would just sit and listen to his albums over and over each time being like the first. Not only did I fall in love with his music but also his energy and vibe as an artist. His spectacular personality really shone through all of his music and the effort he put into it both in the beats and the lyrics alike – he was an international treasure.

We all miss you Tim. 5 months ago me and my brother were hit by an SUV and he was in the hospital for 3 months. You never want to hear the words out of a doctors mouth "I don't think he will make it". I have never been the same since. if it wasn't for your music during the hard times I don't know where I would be right now. You saved my life. I love you from the bottom of my heart. I have had depression since since 2010 i discovered Avicii and levels in 2011 (6th grade). When i got in to high school i had never felt so alone and i still continue to feel this way. I am now 20 years old. Avicii is my main inspiration in life because i can relate to him so much. His music is part of why i care about him so much but i relate to him for who he was not the songs he made. Everyone i felt lesser than absolutely love him and that gives me hope that maybe i can fix my life. RIP

My friend introduced me to his music when i was in 7th grade. I was addicted to his music. He gave me hope. He tought me love. Most importantly he gave me a place to go when I was lonely or sad. When Avicii died I didnt know who he was as my friends were talking about it at school. Early this year I searched up "Wake Me Up" on youtube to listen to it again I then realised it was Avicii since then as I listen to the songs from levels to SOS no matter the song as long as its by Avicii I get goosebumps.
