He was and inspiration to many including myself .The level of creativity that we lost is just something living with it is hard.I remember back in my country(Kenya) when we were young people used to think Avicii sings or rather creates music on festival stages and that's because of his uniqueness and professionalism that people could see. I remember the first time I listened to "Wake Me Up." I was driving down Imperial Street in Burnaby Canada and at the red light the song came on. That minute I had fallen in love with dance music and with your music. Even though you're not with us anymore your music is the the spark that ignites the lifetime of happiness and joy. Man that concert in Caracas Venezuela was one of the first ones I went to. You were killing it with all those new tracks. "Superlove" was the one I listened the most back then. I remember listening to all your podcast on iTunes (I still do sometimes). I started to workout at the gym and I was not only listening to your music but I was actually aware of you because I wanted to hear from you. You were the best and you will always be my top 1. Levels introduced me to EDM. Wake Me Up changed my whole perspective of what EDM can be and became one of my favorite songs – something Tim managed to do again with Without You. Avicii was one of my two favorite artists of all time with more songs in my favorites than anyone else. He was like me introspective and only cared about the music; he poured his soul into it which is why you can still feel his soul through it. I think we would've been good friends. I saw a lot of myself in him.

When I was around 14 years old I began to have depression I did not know then but seeing it now in retrospect were very bad years in my life at that moment you came to my life Tim those nights of tears accompanied by your beautiful work that time in which my grandmother passed away in which my only reason for not throwing myself to cry was your song "silhouettes" Even if you are not there anymore your legacy impels me to move forward and be able to live a life I can remember. In September (or October) 2013 I heard Wake Me Up for the first time. This is THE song that PULLED me into EDM. A few days later I first heard Levels. To. this. very. day. Levels remains my FAVORITE song of all time. Always will be. I owe my musical preferences to him. There's no such thing as a bad Avicii song. In fact there are only a select few days where I haven't been able to listen to his music since Sept/Oct. 2013. April 20th 2018 is a day that I will never EVER forget.

I then start to wonder if there was more music and I look it up. I started to listen to some of his songs and that started my love of EDM. So he was part of my childhood and I will remember Tim and I hope more people will listen to his music.
