I remember when was so depressed I didn't even want to get up or move until "Wake me up" started playing I my mind. I started to cry because there was so much truth in the song especially when it said in the first verse "they say I'm too young to understand. They say I'm caught up in a dream". Thankyou Avicii for being the reason that I am able to smile today.

Avicii is someone I just recently heard about and it pained me to hear he died. A friend sent me his song "The Nights" and as soon as I listened to it I came to tears. Scrolling through the comments of that video was one of the hardest things I have ever done. Avicii is someone who didn't deserve what came to him. He helped me over come my suicidal thoughts and for that he is a true hero a true legend. He deserved a long happy life. You will always be remembered ◢ ◤

Levels was the first song I ever listened to with my girlfriend and we both became huge fans after. We dropped everything to listen to his new song and even went to Tomorrowland 2015 just to see him. We are now married with 2 kids and still love his music.
My brother – born on November 18 – died on March 26 2018. He was also 28 years old and a passionate musician who left this life which had become so hard by his own choice. Tim I am so so sorry for what you must have felt. 'Hey Brother' is now the most important song in the world to me. Thank you. Thank you.

The very first time I knew Avicii was through his hit song “Levels” from that point moving forward I liked his music and listened to his other songs. I have no definitive answer for which song is the best what I can say is that the songs that both I loved and inspired me in my life are The Nights The Days Broken Arrows Waiting For Love Wake Me Up Gonna Love You and Coldplay’s A Sky Full Of Stars. You were gone too soon Tim. But you will never be forgotten.

Avicii's music was one of a kind. He was a very talented young man who knew how to electrify the crowd at concerts and at clubs around the world. His music left a lasting impression on me and it was one of the few foundations that built my interest in the electronic genre. I was lucky enough to see him DJ live at two separate events in Pittsburgh PA while he was touring. The story of his burnout is a true tragedy that we all wish could have been averted. RIP Tim

Although I was never lucky enough to have met Avicii or have attended his shows I was lucky enough to have connected with his music in ways that most people wouldn't understand. He may not have known it but he was loved and he will be loved forever by those who knew him and those whom missed out on knowing such a truly wonderful human who inspired so many. It has been an insane year for me right from the beginning. And by that I mean the positive and the negative sight of "insane". Tim's music was always with me and helped me not only to survive but to appreciate the gift called life. His songs offered a lot of memories which I'll keep forever in my heart. Still can't believe he's gone. I loved his music and still do it. But makes me really sad that I can't see him not on stage anymore. He was too young to go. I grew up listening to Avicii. His music was the soundtrack to high school. I associate so many of my most cherished memories with Avicii. I am heartbroken he had to leave us so soon

He might have saved me a thousand times he made world expand when his songs hit the radio from the first to the last minute. Tim hopefully was a wonderfull man and i want to thank his parents for guiding and loving him as much as you could. I was a bit too young when he was performing to go to one of his concerts and so it seems i was never able to meet him alltough i wouldn't possibly ever meet him in person for maybe a cup of coffee. From day one (when I discovered him while in a random club in Europe) to this day I have chills and my heart explodes every time I hear his music… any sets.. anywhere… I can never forget him as I grew up and became an adult while listening his songs. A part of me was lost when we lost him but he will always be here with me no matter what. I could never be grateful enough for the emotions you brought to the world and to me to my life and I love you for that.
