Although I was never lucky enough to have met Avicii or have attended his shows I was lucky enough to have connected with his music in ways that most people wouldn't understand. He may not have known it but he was loved and he will be loved forever by those who knew him and those whom missed out on knowing such a truly wonderful human who inspired so many. He was a great man and a very successful DJ. It is sad that he could not find happiness and did not feel the need to live any longer.

It has been an insane year for me right from the beginning. And by that I mean the positive and the negative sight of "insane". Tim's music was always with me and helped me not only to survive but to appreciate the gift called life. His songs offered a lot of memories which I'll keep forever in my heart. Still can't believe he's gone. I loved his music and still do it. But makes me really sad that I can't see him not on stage anymore. He was too young to go. I grew up listening to Avicii. His music was the soundtrack to high school. I associate so many of my most cherished memories with Avicii. I am heartbroken he had to leave us so soon

J'ai eu un vrai coup de coeur pour cet artiste tellement talentueux dont les yeux bleus regardaient vers le ciel plein d'attente et d'espoir .Une journée d(été Ensuite j'ai écouté tout l'album True en boucle toutes les vidéos avec des paysages et des couchers de soleil du monde entier et j'ai vraiment adorés toute son oeuvre .Je lui en ai voulu d'être parti de cette manière sans dire au revoir .J'aimais beaucoup son chien et je pense beaucoup à sa famille Rest in peace Dear Brother
He might have saved me a thousand times he made world expand when his songs hit the radio from the first to the last minute. Tim hopefully was a wonderfull man and i want to thank his parents for guiding and loving him as much as you could. I was a bit too young when he was performing to go to one of his concerts and so it seems i was never able to meet him alltough i wouldn't possibly ever meet him in person for maybe a cup of coffee. From day one (when I discovered him while in a random club in Europe) to this day I have chills and my heart explodes every time I hear his music… any sets.. anywhere… I can never forget him as I grew up and became an adult while listening his songs. A part of me was lost when we lost him but he will always be here with me no matter what. I could never be grateful enough for the emotions you brought to the world and to me to my life and I love you for that.
A music composer like no other melodic songs meaningfull lyrics gigantic rythm fantastic sound original video clips heavenly dance moves super looks humoristic when needed very humble generous … Deeply sad you where not happy in this great world! I met Avici in the documentary –”True stories” early April. I met a very special young man: open humble wise and fragile . I took him to my motherhood heart. Started to listen to his music. I especially like the singable melodies with unexpected loops. The lyrics made me remember my own youth. When he died I was devastated. It feels so unfair that someone who means so much for so many couldn’t find meaning peace happiness and pride in life. Now he rests”där han hör hemma”.

I remember a young me listening to Levels for the first time. It filled me with joy and excitment. Back then I did not realise the bond I would make with Tim´s music and the memories I would create. When I first heard of Tim´s passing I sat with my friend in my room and we listened to music. I remember I felt empty inside and it felt just I had lost a family member or a good friend. I then realised the impact Tim had made on my life and many others. Rest in peace Tim<3

avicii's music to me has defined my summers and my favourite memories. his songs are filled with so much love and a lust for life and listening to them makes me want to go out and make every day count. it pains me so much to know someone who made so many people (like myself) so happy struggled so much. I love avicii I think about him constantly and I hope he and his family know how much he has done for so many people and the legacy he will forever leave on earth. I send my love

I first discovered Tim on vacation while flying on Emirates Arline and his song was on their entertainment system and I had just loved it so much listened to the song on loop for a good 2 hours. Most musicians don't make music as Avicii did. The quality of the music is amazing. A great legend has passed on. In 2014 my EDM phase started. I listened to Calvin Harris Zedd and much more talented artist. I discovered Avicii through my phase and I was amazed by his music. I was in a time where I was depressed and listening to his music and the impact of the lyrics would always cheer me up. ¨Addicted to You¨ ¨Levels¨ ¨Waiting for Love¨ ¨Ten More Days¨ ¨Wake Me Up¨ and much more of your songs would always motivate me to keep myself going from all the negativity. I have many happy memories of Avicii's music and his death truly shocked me. It brings me great sadness that the happiness his music gave others he could not share. He was incredibly gifted an exceptional songwriter/melody writer and performer. Even at times when he was at his lowest he continued to perform and to share his talent with the world even though he must have felt so alone. As a result his music and spirit will live on forever. I hope those close to him realize this. RIP Tim x
