Tim made me discover the electronic music when i was 13 now i'm 18 and I still loving him and what he have done in his life. I think he is the most significant artist in my whole life and it's hard to admit that now I would never meet him I would never attend one of his concerts and I would not hear any new music from him… If i'm listening to EDM right now it's because of him thanks for everything and i really hope deep down in my heart that you are happy right now. My name is Semyon I'm from Russia at the moment I'm 19 but to follow the work of Tim became since 2011. Being a little guy I saw "Levels" on TV. This composition struck me I thought: "Who created this?". On the Internet I saw that the author was Avicii. From that moment I began to follow the work of this DJ. I had luck to see and hear Tim at Ultra Europe in Split Croatia. There always have been songs that been favourites of mine. But recently my whole life collapsed and I've been listening Tim's music every day. Lyrics and melodies have different meaning and I guess I can say that Tim's music has kept me from following his path. I do understand completely his struggle as I've had mine whole life and now even worse. You keep me alive Tim even in darkest moments. Thank you and for your music! ??

Through Avicii and EDM I finally found some connection to the world in general – found out there were so many other kindred spirits spattered about the globe like me. Avicii was more than a producer/DJ. I discovered him in 2010 with "Seek Bromance" and at this time i didn't know that was him. Years passed and i was enjoying all his songs and remixes "Blessed" "Drowning" but when i hear for the first time "Levels" i know this guy was way more than a good producer.. It was the time where i hear all his old songs and following him for the new ones. Even if "True" and "Stories" were not as much good than his 2009/2012 era he has a special place in my heart <3

I remember the first time I heard Levels by Tim. Streamed from YouTube on an iPad back in my garden 2011. A moment I have thought of a lot since April 20th. Avicii's music was really special and a whole new world opened up. Since True album I've had loved Tims music and I've been listening to it almost everyday but it's not until now I understand the lyrics and the melodies. This is not normal dance club music. Avicii was one of the big artists that influenced me to pursue becoming a DJ/Producer. I remember when I was young I had no interest in electronic music at all then I heard Wake Me Up for the first time and from there I was exposed to more artists in this genre and I got hooked now its my passion. I knew of Avicii before I knew of Tim as an artist and paid little attention except to enjoy his music. When I had heard he had passed I couldn't get him out of my head. Suffering with depression myself not being able to get out of bed. After strangely being woken up at 4am with Levels playing really loudly in my head I began to download his albums and get up and dance whilst doing the little things in life. He was a phenonmenal person and artist. The world is a darker place without him. Rip?

Avicii heard his name back in middle school I only knew him truly in high school from Wake Me Up. Fell in love with the video from the first second. Broken Arrows had me hooked to his beats. And just as I thought he would live life peacefully he's gone. My hero's gone and I've known him for only so few years. Though I never met him or went to his concerts; that dude got me smiling through a lot of times good and bad alike. Tim Bergling you are and always will be my number one dj RIP++<3.

I had not heard of him until his death. Immediately I became obsessed with his life family and music. By the way I’m 57 years old. I feel like I know him from another lifetime. Looking into his eyes is like reaching into his soul. One day I will meet him. I hope and pray he is at peace with himself. I would like to know more about his mindset while in Oman to help me understand why. My brother took his life 5 years ago. I too suffer from anxiety and depression but control it with medication.

It literally shattered me into pieces the morning I heard about the new. And several months have passed it still feels unreal. His music inspires me in a way that nobody else could ever do and my motto has always been "One day you'll leave this world behindso live a life you will remember." Unfortunately I never discovered Avicii's music until after he passed away but his legacy has had a profound effect on me on a deeply personal level. Watching the Avicii documentary was a life-changing moment for me as I found so many similarities between the two of us and it was only then I realised that I too am an introvert and how it's shaped my whole existence. I have come to love his music and would like to extend my deepest gratitude and condolences to his family and friends.

I got to hold the 10x15m flag of you during Don Diablo and managed to keep it together until Afrojack played sevral of your tracks while honoring you and at Hey Brother I burst into tears. Nicky Romeros tribiute was by far the best <3 (missed Otto Knows will never forgive myself) It was a good way to honor your memory and all the joy you brought me. Being there has always been my dream and so many of your collaborators on your hits preformed your songs <3

It feels weird to be overthrown by such a deep agonising sorrow for some one I haven't met. But the pain is real and I still cry.
