When I was going through hard timesHis music help me out.I fell in love with edm because of him.I really wish to meet him someday but sadly I didn't get the chance.I have really missed him so much and I want him to come back.But I know that can never happen.Someday if I get to become a DJ I will definitely be like him and I will never forget you Tim. Waking up in the morning just to know my favorite music composer died……was one of the worst day of my life…..felt like something died inside me…….but AVICII's music will always live inside my heart and in the hearts of all his loving fans!!!!

I know I'm kinda late but Avicii and his music has had a huge impact on my life. His songs helped me get through each and every day and I won't let his death be the reason that I stop listening to his music. I will keep my chin up and hope he's doing well in heaven. Avicii brought me into EDM world. I fall in love with his music the first time I heard Wake Me Up. It was not like other dance music you play in the party. The lyric has deep thought and it was like a poetry. Ever since you announced that you will not do living performance any more I have been waiting for you to come back. I’m from Barcelona and 3 years ago Avicii went to a festival here named ‘BBF’. At 2015 I wasn’t allowed to entry by my own to the festival because I was 15 years old and I remembered my desiree to see him in live at that time I thought that I will have more chances to see him. Then he will retire from dj but my hope to one day can finally see his return were alive. When he passed away I felt very bad inside me. Because of him and I started listening edm music . Before I knew who I was and what I was I heard Avicii's songs and was inspired that some day I would like to be someone as inspiring as him. Until 3 days after his death did I know that those songs that inspired me was from Avicii. He had influenced who I was and had died before I had a chance to some how give back to him. It had broken my heart then but it is over now and lastly I would like to say thank you for everything he had given me and the world.

I grew up listening to Avicii. His was a household name someone that everyone just knew. My childhood anthem was wake me up and the memories I have associated with it are endless. It feels so weird to know that I can never listen to a new song on the radio and think 'hmm that sounds like an Avicii song'. I'll always remember him and the mark he left on my life as well as a million others. Thank you Tim. From the bottom of my heart thank you.

When I was 17 I had a very hard crisis about my life and my dreams I felt depressed for so long I totally lost trust in people around me because of some evenements and loneliness was killing me. But Avicii helped me since I lissened to Waiting for Love for the first time something changed in my mind it was like i found again the strenght to fight between the lyric. My friends and I fell in love with Avicii's music back in high school shortly after Wake Me Up came out. We would play his songs during track practice to make the runs go by faster and to lighten our moods. We desperately wanted to go to one of his concerts but unfortunately we were too young to do so. Avicii was a HUGE part of my childhood. i loved his music so so much. Me and my cousin would always blast his songs whenever we hung out mostly "levels" that was our childhood favorite. Before his death I had listened to some of his songs my favorite being "waiting for love".Once his death had been broadcast on nbc I felt sad that a fellow artist had died that young at 29. Once spotify out out a playlist remembering avicii on its home page I listened to a few songs and was instantly hooked. I have never heard anyone more melodically talented than Tim. I made sure to listen to every release to explore what went on in his mind. I adore the way he crossed genres tried to go down new paths and tried to evolve his sound. His attention to detail and his melodical complexity is beyond belief. The best year of my life was 2011-2012 when I was doing a gap year in a blind school in Pune India. Next to our apartment was a hotel that had a rooftop party every Sunday. And I swear they played “Levels” every fucking Sunday and we loved it! Thanks for the best Sunday memories! I will never forget! Avicii means so much to me. I've been a fan of him for 6 years. His music helps me out a lot when times get though for me. A few years ago I was in a really dark hole and I thought I'd never get out of it. I couldn't eat drink… all I could do was sleep. His song Dear Boy helped me out through my freshman year. For those few minutes I'd get lost into the song and forget about everything. I love Tim so much I can't explain it. I miss you so much you have no idea… RIP <3
