As a child I used to sing along to Avicii's songs such as Levels and I Could Be The One without even knowing who the genius behind those songs was. Now I'd do anything to have him back. Avicii brought a smile to my face whenever I was sad. I had a major interest in music after I'd started listening to his wonderful and profound songs. All I want is to know that Tim is at peace with himself now. I wish you turned your last candles off so much time later. We all wish you a Happy Birthday Tim.♥

Avicii was a true artist and made me feel that I could have fun when times are difficult. That is because of the combination of his beautiful melodies and understanding lyrics that he wrote. That helped me so much as a little high school girl who listened to the songs everytime in the car. It still does now that I am 19. Thank you Avicii your music will live on forever for me

Happy birthday Tim. I feel a special connection to you. I am as old as you and I have suffered from mental health issues (anxiety and depression) for most of my adult life like I know you have. We both grew up in this ultra connected world where young people party endlessly and live their lives with a feeling that the world is theirs and that they can achieve anything which turns out to be an illusion. Dear Avicii I recently contemplated taking my own life. I then met someone who has since become what I consider my best friend. He gave me lifts to and from my workplace as we were at first primarily colleagues; usually very early in the morning for the former journey. He introduced me to the large body of your music. Listening to your works such as the `dear-boy` remix while watching the sunrise made me feel alive again. Thanky-You for everything.

I was a basic kid obsessed with bands that looking back seem pretty cliché. In 2013 I stumbled upon Avicii's music and fell in love with it. I found out he was coming to my city for Untold Festival and I bought a ticket just so I could see him but instead I found out about the entire EDM culture and fell completely in love with the whole genre. Tim changed my life forever and I am in awe of everything he did for me. He made my world a happier place. RIP legend. I'll miss you forever.
